The shipwreck high up in the mountain looked really funny. It must have been a really heavy storm^^ 🤣 Eric would only appear more often if he had more space to spawn. But that would ruin the setting of a small island. Therefore, I am in favor of saplings being found in shipwreck chests. 👍 Unfortunately, that's what happens when you load a single biome map from 1.17 or earlier into 1.18 or later. New chunks will generate like a normal world. 🙁And buried treasure chests only generate when there are beach biomes nearby. That's why the buried treasure maps from the previously loaded shipwrecks are all normal maps.

All my treasure maps have been duds so far. I have given up any hope, but that's no big deal, although a Heart of the Sea would have been nice. Not sure why, but I'm sure I could have found some use for a conduit. And yes, I want to keep my island small. But like I said, I just wanted saplings to give me variety in my wood to work with. I'll just have to dismantle sunken ships. See, if I have prismarine blocks (and the neart of the sea), a conduit would be useful for working underwater.

@@blazeranger5279 Yes, that's too bad. I found a datapack on planetminecraft called oceans only survival by lbrandonl for Minecraft 1.19 to 1.20.2. I haven't tested newer versions. With this datapack you can generate a pure ocean world in 1.20 with ALL ocean biomes AND treasure chests. It also has ocean monuments (they only spawn in deep ocean biomes). I think you would love it. There is no fixed starter island because you create a new world and load a random seed. There are small islands, but not necessarily nearby. You can try different seeds until you find one you like. I played this: 6089693324041552469. How does that sound to you?
