@superspeeders As someone that has gone through the lemon law process on a different vehicle I can tell you, you will get nothing by negotiating yourself. Also do not even do the mediator thing either. The mediator will almost always rule in manufacturers (its paid for by the manufacturer) favor and it will count against you. Get a lemon law attorney the negotiations go completely different and Chevrolet will pay your attorney fees.

Yeah we don't have a lemon law in Canada and the mediation is done by a person paid by the manufacturers so you know how THAT goes. "the most we'll give you is $200 and a pine air freshener and you're lucky you're getting that".

Rob..I watch your show..not a fan of the pump but I understand...let me explain something to u..NEVER deal with GM on your own..like that..I have a 2023 Stingray 2LT..after 5 months my engine began ticking ..they had my car 3 months 2 days..engine was replaced..I didn't receive a loaner because the dealership didn't have one..but in the end I got a Lemon lawyer..or cost me nothing...in the end they too gave me options..(1) buy the car back (2) get a new one or 10,000...I took the money and ran..I felt u cheated yourself out what was really owed to u for the inconvenience of not having your new car for that many months...just some knowledge for the future..it was passed on to me when I was going through my ordeal..and this type of info needs to be told to other Corvette owners who are going through engine changes or transmission changes .

2 months of payments is a low ball offer. I wouldn't accept it. If you lost use for 5 months AND the headaches, that's the min they should be offering. Not sure of the new jersey laws but most places if you have it in for service more than 3 times, that's a lemon law car. I'd go to them: ok, I can lemon law this car, and force you to take it back or you can give me $12K gm credit and I'll buy another one. Your choice. $12K and the sale of another car or you take it back.

The time and money lost on customers getting stuck doesn’t justify 2 months payments in my eyes you having to send a tow truck or getting a call the cars stuck several trips to the dealership to be told it’s fixed and it happens again then two months replacement of the engine 🧐GM should have allowed you to replace the car with a 2024 if that what makes you happy is way better then a lemon law taking a year and you getting everything back plus time lost seems to me I’d go for the lemon law or sell it for way more then you payed it that dollar amount if way more remember it will take time for the lemon law to go threw and you’ll get use for free 🤷🏻‍♂️
