I had a game 2 years ago where a Maus got the raider medal on Mountain Pass, he drove to the gletcher and reached our base. For real.. a freaking Maus didn't get spotted and capped our base for 100 point. No jokes on this xD

from the last time what my guess is that, directive and regular equips are calculated in the “same stage”, like those 2 percentages were added up and calculated together (11.5%+2.5%=14%)while improved one is calculated by different stages (13%*(1+2.5%)=13.8375%) , since the percentages were closed and base vr is not a large number,1m of difference is generated by rounding up these different calculations. [The main reason I don’t think it’s visual bug is that these stats were most likely not strings input, there must be some sort of calculation involved, and this is pretty much the only way I can think of, unless the binoculars calculation is between regular/directive &improved equip, although there is a little chance that wg just made a very silly mistake, which is making the vr calculation has +1output when regular equip is on instead of improved version...] [For anyone who is also interested in this, you can also check the last video, where I also has a long explanation of my best guess like this]

SU5, 7 RAIDERS, M44 3,M53/55 1,BC155/58 3,Lorr 155/51 2. not the rarest medal, but close. 1,599 defenders, 38 DeLanglade, 1,248 BIA, 103 raiders all these are most on NA server. Just us left and the enemy arty out in the field. he wanted to go kill the arty. I said to POSHY,,,"were you spotted?" he said he didn't know. I told him to cap and I went to the top of the hill to act as interference in the event the arty came to defend cap. I would not kill him, just scare him off. After battle,,,,POSHY won the RAIDER/INVADER. this was POSHY'S first and ONLY RAIDER medal. I miss him so much. POSHY was the most entertaining WOT player I have known. you can find clips on you tube of him playing WOT. RIP POSHY.

Raider is an incredibly rare, if not the rarest award; 37k games over the last nine years and I only have it twice! Once in the Type T-34, and the other in the Chinese IS-2... somehow.

Maybe the experimental optics are getting the 13.5% from the base view range but the optics make it go higher because it includes the view range total including the binoculars? Might just be a mathematical thing WG did wrong

my best battle in WoT was in an SU-26, way before the arty nerf. it wasnt so much i was really good as the opposing team was ridiculously bad. 10 kills going direct fire with an arty, including a 6 against 1. Never pulled anything that crazy again, ever.

I can tell an even better story. it is true. on himmelsdorf map. me and my buddy both playing SU5. (this was 6 years ago) arty on himmelsdorf? sucks right? the way the battle unfolded, I would seem to hit the enemy first and he finished them off. sometimes thats the way it goes. I ended up with 2 kills, he ended up with 11. and he got the Billotte medal too! in an arty!!!!! he was out of ammo, I had 1 shot left when i killed the enemy bison. so, 2 artys on himmelsdorf kill 13 of 15 enemy tanks! his name is, dapper_tramp look up his record and see the Billotte medal in SU5. he has not played since 2018, and I have not played with him for a couple years before then.

Maybe the most OP arty in this game. More view range than upper tiers. Insane damage if penetrate. Low reload time. 3 kind of ammo... I love it

Lefefefefefe has 20m more base view range than any other tier 5 vehicle. Only T71 tier7 and Dicker Max tier 6 can beat Lefefefefefefefe's view range. Much balanced.

THe view range issue is not a visual bug. It's a legit bug that boosts view range more than intended. It's just a coding tree path that was overlooked. It's a pretty neglible boost though in lieu of 445 max view range limitation, and the extra camo fighting ability is very neglible. It's not a game breaking bug though, so there probably isn't a need for a hotfix.

If you want to be super dirty. Take an ISU-152 and make it have super camo. As much as possible so it can be a "ghost" tank and not be spotted by anyone including scouts. Maybe you can get your 2nd Raider medal?

My first Raider was in an arty too, on now extinct map. Our teams basically did a slow clock-wise rotation around the map, where I ended up in their cap circle and they were in ours. But fortunately our team kept resetting their cap timer. No one was more surprised than me to get this medal (didn't even know about it, had just been playing a few months).
