I saw this video today and that happened to my mom and dad seperately and when my mom refused because at that time we were tensed for we lost each other in that crowd he said he was from Qatar and he lost huge amount of money and he has called for money from Qatar my mom said we are already tensed due to that we haven’t eaten for hours he said come I’ll buy you something to eat and said that we will eat together then I reached my mom he said beta ap k pas kuch hai I declined silently we didn’t care then because we know people like him are scammers we were aware of the fact and then the next day he did the same with my father when I was still standing with my dad those people have no shame shameless souls

Unfortunately this happened to me too when I was performing my first umrah, one guy in ehram was following me in Safa Marwa, I thought he is also performing umrah, he smiled and after salaam he asked 10 riyal for his food, I said sorry but he was keep on insisting. It was unexpected and shocking incident for me and I was thinking that this kind of people are not even leaving these religious places from their illegal and shameful activities. Very sad.

Recently this happened with me as well. I gave him 100 SAR. Later on when we get to our hotel I realized the same guy took money from me giving same reason last year as well. I told to my wife but was still unsure. Now after seeing this video I am sure it is all scam. Really surprised how low the people has gone down and doing such things in Haram. Jis ney urdu meen bat ki thee, key amma ka dailisis karwana ha aur amma ur ankel bhi han meen han kar rahee thee. Meen ney un ko 30 reyal de diye. Mujee andaza ho ghiya tha. I am in Medina today I faced this at Masjid Al Haram and Masjid Al Nabawwi. Yesterday an old aged 80+ years came to me and started crying so I helped him. One 50+ year old asked for help in Masjid Al Haram. One young guy 25 year old asked me money at Masjid Al Nabawwi. This is extremely sad that it’s happening at the holy places. 25 years old kids also started begging Also people at Jabl al Noor/Ghar e Hira are also scamming. I went at 3 pm to climb there were 3 to 4 people acting like cleaning the mountain and started begging. When started i coming down the mountain at 6pm I saw 50+ plus begging holding cleaning sticks and 20 plus people acting of building steps. Sister kindly inform people of this as well

But police should take proper actions against these scammers inside haram.

Same thing happened with me during saee. It was my first umrah and I was on marwah. Some guy said salam and introduced himself and said he's from multan and his mother and sisters are stuck without food from 13 days and he need some money as her mother couldn't eat rice for some reason. As it was my first incident I advised him to go to haram guard and ask for help. Another incident happened same day same place on marwah after completing my saee I was sitting making dua and crying my heart out and there was this other guy sitting uncomfortably close to me and saying salam again and again to catch my attention. As I soon as I caught his attention he said he need help I stopped him talking midway and got up and left. Few days later 400+ riyals were stolen from my waist pocket in mataf as I was busy holding gilaf of Kaaba and making dua. Few days later another couple was doing same on Ibrahim khalee street on my way back to hotel. Same thing happened on Medina Bilal Market. All these people seems to be Pakistani.

پہلی یہ بات ہے کہ جو بھی حرم شریف میں جاتے ہیں تو پیسے اتنے ساتھ لے کر جاتے ہیں کہ اگر ایمرجنسی میں ضرورت پڑے تو پیسے استعمال کر سکیں تو کچھ لوگ اس وجہ سے نہیں دیتے یا اپنے ساتھ لے کر نہیں جاتے تاکہ چوری نہ ہو جائیں یا کہیں گر نہ جائیں ہاں مانگنے والے بہت ہوتے ہیں اور مانگنے پر نہ دیں تو وہ ہمیں شرمندہ بھی کرتے ہیں اللہ تعالٰی ہمیں معاف کرے اگر کوئی غلطی ہوئی ہو تو اللہ بیشک ہر کسی کی مجبوری کو جانتا ہے امین

Husband n myself encountered 15 scammers in makka. All ask if we speak English . Same story passport got lost or stolen . Or family member sick . When my husband say let's go police station to report ur stolen money n passport. They disappear very quickly.
