The things I'd do to that car haha... I'm a Cutlass guy myself.. right now I'm cruising a 95 Cutlass with the N/A LS4 4T80 swap, cammed the whole works... I really wish I never gotten rid of my 71 442 W-30.. ot was modernized though.. LS3, 4L60, Super Duty rear end, modern brakes, modern suspension but everything else was original.. my dad had an 84 Cutlass with a 396, trans and rear end out of a 70 Chevelle SS, slapper leaf springs, modern for the 80s... we're a Cutlass family.. I'm 44 and my dad is in his 70s, and we still refurbish these cars... love it dude.. hope all goes well.. that'll be a kick ass car when you're done.... oh yea.. my dad was pissed when he found out I modernized my 442 hahaha but when he drove it, boy did his mind change hahaha... anyways cheers fellow Cutlass brother..

My 88 year old grandma just gifted me a 83 Cutlass Supreme in this same condition inside you can eat off the floor clean but outside the sun peeled the vinyl top and ate the paint but it's low miles and it was bought New..

What you teach me your son there is nothing comes easy with that a lot of hard work which is what a lot of people don't get any more like there's this guy ChatOn here who put up a channel because the amount of kids that wereturn jucking out stripping out real good cars like that just because they blew an engine or a transmission and then taking a scrap leap after he wanted to show that you could take something that was totally roached and make it nice again with a little bit of hard work and effort so I think you're doing the same thing here May I have to applaud you for that

So after my 87 olds supreme sitting in my garage for like 20 years you gave me some incentive.Only thing so far blew all break lines out but now I wondering if while replacing I should maybe do a drum break to disk break conversion just wondering if I would need to change out the master cylinder or it would be fine only thing i hate is the computer control choke always was an issue

to do the disc brake conversion u dont have to change the master cylinder but u do need to upgrade the brake proportioning valve to support disc to disc vice what u have now which is disc to drum

Great solid car. No welding required on this one. Wash under the car then just spray regular flat black spray paint to protect the metal. Rustolium is the best brand for adhesion over rusty metal. Great project
