Good morning Pam! ❤ Just this weekend went thru bins of scrapbook papers in ‘that’ corner where I never look. I now have a stack 2 feet high (not exaggerating!) of ‘what was I thinking?!’, ‘you’ve got to be kidding me’, ‘no way I spent money on that!?’ and ‘gaaaah!’ on my dining table. This was a hoot! ❤ Brought back memories of leaving my old house: my two granddaughters crafted at a coffee table in the living room, kept neat and tidy with a drop cloth and my “big bucks Dyson” - when we moved we had Stanley Steamer come to do the carpets - the Steamer guys were in hysterics because glitter just kept coming up out of the carpet - there were probably pounds of it down in the super-plush that just refused to surrender to the Dyson! 🧚🏼‍♀️🧚🏼‍♂️

Lol! Pam, you're going to have glitter for days 😂 Here's a tip for the next time youplay with glitter. Use a bone folder to burnish the glitter into the glue. It works wonders. I absolutely loved the paper after youused the paint and stencil. Not sure about the tree and glitter. Although i think if you used glue on a dauber and just did a few places through the stencil then added the glitter. I think that would have been pretty too. Looking forward to seeing what you make with your new and improved paper.♥️

This turned out so cute =D Way better than the original paper (it was cutesy, but... not a style i'd have chosen. Def one that, if it came in a pile of papers, I'd transform it, too) I can't believe you dared to use the... "gift that keeps giving"... (hehe) of crafts... LOOSE GLITTER! 😮😮😮😮😮😮 You are BRAVE! 😂 The only reason I purchase loose glitter now (and only if I find it reaaaaalllly cheap and hide it from my partner lol) is to dump it into a bottle of clear elmer's and turn it into glitter-glue. Oooo... now I wanna try the same thing with mica powder... would it end up looking more like glitter glue... or like a pigmented glue? (Metallic, even?) Hmmmm... drat. Putting that thought in my idea notebook, cus i need to pick up another bottle of glue (i forgot I transformed my last one into an irridescent glitter-glue. Lol.) Hmmm, anyone out there wanna try it out? I also wanna try mixing glitter in with dollar tree's version of fabri-fix (poster & presentation glue i think its called, - edited to add: Poster and Foamboard Glue) but its like a slightly runnier version of fabri-fix) and seeing if I can get a bit more dimension out of it (so it's closer to or more closely resembles the effect of 3D paint, or stickles/nuvo drops than you get with just regular glue)... lots of "experiments," lol. I hope everyone has a wonderful and creative week! 😊

Glitter can travel for days and miles...my 9 yr old loves glitter. I can always tell where she's been through out the house, at grampa's house, the car and back yard by the glitter trail she leaves behind. Yep, and it beds itself in carpet

Mornin' Pam. Try using plain old Elmer's school glue to make your design. Then put the glitter on. I've seen it done in videos and it seems to work well. Regards to the menagerie and Papa too. Hope you all have a great day. 🌞 (P.S. The fuchsia paint is a translucent paint. Not because it's a "cheapo" paint.)

Thanks for this project. Much of my paper came to me via garage sales where it was bundled, and I didn't have a choice! The price was so great and there were enough gorgeous papers to make the purchase worthwhile.

Hi Pam! I make over unwanted scrap book paper too! I've used my gelli plate and stencils. Oh, shouldn't shake off the glitter outside. Unless it's biodegradable.. but most glitter is not. Just sayin', no judgment here. TFS 💕
