My mum got back to work after a week I was born. My grandparents were around since day , they picked me up from school everyday. I loved being with them and I still had plenty of time with my parents. And I guess I just learned from the start that people have jobs and things to do. And I think I grew to be a decent human being. Don't ever feel bad cause you need someone to look after your child! We all need a bit of time to ourselfs and to get things done were kids are not too handy to have around. From what I see (which is just so little of you daily life) I think you're doing brilliant.

It's vital you have time away! The relationship between children and grandparents/aunts and uncles is precious! It's so special for grandparents to have that time alone, it's like having their own children back as babies but without the hard work! Also as parents you need time to recharge and reconnect! You are not leaving her for days! She's gorgeous, shes a delight!

It must be so hard being a first time mum on youtube, especially taking part in things like Vlogmas. Rhiannon, no one here is judging your parenting skills, so please don't worry about explaining to us why you do things. If Delilah is watching TV, she's simply watching TV! We all know you well enough to know how active you are with her, and that you don't just dump her in front of the TV for hours on end :) I have so much respect for you to be able to show your new family off like this and not letting the negative comments on your parenting skills affect you. You're doing an amazing job! xo

Hey, Rhiannon! I'm loving these videos with Delilah. My baby sister was born back in September, and I'm her primary babysitter. My my my Delilah 😍 She is sooo adorable, even her little breathy noises are so adorable. As long as parents give their babies a secure & intimate connection as primary caregivers, I agree that it's okay to leave your baby with people you trust. All of us need to catch a breath to recharge.

So sad that you had to explain the babysitting situation to those that don't understand 😕 I couldn't agree more with your reasons though and it's even been proven to be beneficial for mum and baby to have short breaks from each other from a couple of months old onwards! Stick to your guns Rhiannon, you're doing great! ❤️

When I was born my mum went back to work really soon so I was with my nan and grandad from a really early age, it continued as I grew older and 19 years later I am still so incredibly close to my nan and grandad and see them at least once a week even if it's a Skype call from uni. Please please please don't feel like you have to justify your parents looking after her, or babysitting at all for that matter. It's about finding a balance with babysitting and the bond between grandparents and a child is so so important, I'd be so lost without mine ❤️

Rhiannon do not ever feel that you need to justify anything you're doing as a parent. What ever you choose to do or how you are with Delilah is completely you decision. Been watching your vlogs for a while and as a new mummy I find comfort in seeing a fellow new mummy going through the same daily struggles and delights as myself. It's so awful to hear that you and Doug receive nasty comments, people need to just chill the fuck out. Delilah is absolutely gorgeous 😘Wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas and new year.

Completely agree with everything that you were saying about babysitting. Each to their own, but I personally I find it so important to have time way from Mila as well, like you said it really is refreshing and I feel like it makes me a better mum. It should never be something that we should feel guilty about, especially as it's important to give relatives special bonding time with them as well. Enjoying your Vlogmas so much! Also how do you manage it all? I can hardly find time to get one blog post up a week!

I absolutely love your new mom advice, I find it's a good idea to get Delilah babysat so you can get some alone time for a bit. My sister had my nephew 5 months ago and she finds it hard leaving him alone with anyone. She started recently leaving him with my mom or myself for a bit so he can get use to being looked at by other family members. 😊❤ I found ways to entertainment the little one and it was fine even if he started crying for a bit.

I hate the fact that you always feel the need to justify yourself every time you do something that people might possibly take offence by (like putting her in front of the telly so you can have a cup of coffee). She's your little girl, and you know what's best for her. Besides, anyone can see that you're a sensible caring mum :). Love your vlogs, Delilah is absolutely gorgeous xxx

We've bought a little seat bath thingy, if that makes sense haha, for our little one, but one that you pop into the actual bath rather than a little bath that you can move around :) I love everything that you bought! This is really random but when you're folding D's clothes away and it's on a faster speed, it sounds like the sims noises haha! ON ANOTHER really random note, I love that plant in your bedroom! Where is it from? You need to have a little time to yourself! You're a mummy now but you're also still a human being! I'm glad you're happy with D being babysat with her grandparents, it's lovely for her, for your parents and for YOU! x

These sensory classes and things you go to, is that included in UK health care? Like, is that the norm for babys & mamas over there? Or is it something that you pay for and is separate from like, hospital/health care? Like is it a private business? I'd love some of those classes :)
