There are many cases of children that die drowning in water by accident. That kid seemed like the type that is stubborn given that she disobeyed him and continued to play with water and didn't turn off the tap. Sometimes you gotta be strict, not extremely but to the point that your kids will understand what's wrong and what is right. Hats off to Jackson and his way of handling

@kaylinsmith69213 ай бұрын
@@timelyferryIt takes 2 inches of water to drown an adult. It only has to cover your mouth and nose. It's so dangerous for little kids to be in the bathroom unsupervised. I'm not very often in favor of scaring kids, but in cases like this? Fear is good.

@@ceq9365 I don't want to be seen as rude and i hope this is not portrayed as being rude but i think it was necessary to do that because he is teaching them that actions have consequences. Did you see how close they were to the water. Imagine if one of them fell and drowned because they didn't see anything wrong with playing with water. I think it was appropriate in that situation. Plus they are kids one wrong move and something terrible may happen. I am kind of happy that he scolded them because some parents just let kids do whatever they want and accidents occur. (Once again i hope i didn't seem rude)

@taradreams33 жыл бұрын
I liked that he thought carefully about everything he did. He wasn't just reacting, he was thinking about how to react to best teach them that what they did was not ok. So many parents just think that yelling all the time is good discipline. I can't tell you how many times I'm in the store and I see a parent screaming at their kid for seemingly no reason. Children start to tune that out after a while. If you yell all the time it doesn't mean anything. And then how he instantly became affectionate towards her after she agreed not to play with water anymore was the perfect thing to do. Remaining mad or holding a grudge after discipline negates the desired effect. Sorry this is so long, I know a lot about child development for my job and I'm just super impressed with how he handled the situation.

It's hard watching stuff like this because the kids don't see themselves as an actor on a show. They experience the fear for real. This child is probably sensory seeking and may have poor impulse control. She was truly scared in a very real way. That's not parenting and this guy isn't her parent anyway. Jackson scared me at first. But I understand why he took such a stern position with MeowMeow. Either she or Haohao could've drowned from playing in tub water. He was trying to protect them and keep them alive. Jackson is going to be a great father to his child(ren).👑

I don't think this was the best way to deal with this...just scared the child. The child doesn't know WHY it's wrong but they know they're being scolded.

It is very difficult for someone to manage foreign children and especially at this age. Jackson has received a lot of love from his family. This can be seen from his attitude .. He knows how to share and show his love ...

Nah, that's not the way you're teaching kids to stop. Doing things she's afraid of to get what he wanted, is not good parenting! This just teaches her to listen or else she might feel fear/be afraid.

I don't know if you know that this is a program, he's not her father or a relative, he couldn't do anything because even if he spoke to the girl well, the girl knows that he doesn't have anything left of her and she's not going to pay attention to her, she blames the of the program for doing those kinds of shows with children
@brotloserbastard Жыл бұрын
@@bad__9845 I know that he's not her father or a relative and that this is a show. I wrote this comment because of all the other comments saying that he will be such a good father. I don't know Jackson in privat or anything! But if he will do this regular with his kids someday, he will not be (in that kind of situation) a good father.

Agreed, parenting with fear isn't going to help someone develop well. If you parent with fear, you're either playing the role of a narcissist (making the kid feel they cannot face things without you, that they need you, which creates a really unhealthy attachment), or you're going to cause the kid to feel as if they cannot come to you for support. Breaks relationships either way. But I guess if the parents are more than prepared to spend the rest of their lives paying for therapy and then ending up in a care home when the kid sees through it later then I guess good for them?

he just did it because they kept playing with the water TWO times after he told them why they shouldnt. plus hes taking care of more than 4 kids by himself he cant be all calm all the time??? he ended up kissing them as an apology for yelling so whats your point?
@brotloserbastard Жыл бұрын
@@yes-vm1op be around kids that are annoying and won't always listen to you, is normal as a parent and should be considered before you have kids. I don't say that he is a bad person or anything like that. I'm just saying that punishment with fear is NOT good parenting! And it doesn't matter if you are good to them after that. If you don't get my point, then I'm sorry.
