Hi , its actually 1,800 yen one way :) but we suggest for you to book you roundtrip ticket in Shinjuku bus terminal to lessen the hassle of transferring buses or trains from Gotemba back to Tokyo.

Hi, we have bought roundtrip ticket from Shinjuku bus terminal, you would be able to choose the time that you would like to return to from their timetable. You just need to go back to the bus stop on Gotemba to alight the bus back to Tokyo on your selected time. Hope this helps!
