If you want an actual feel for what Warframe is actually about, watch the trailer for the game. One, it's just a badass, epic piece of digital cinema in it's own right, but it's also a really good summary of the story of the game. It leaves out A LOT, mind you, because it's a teaser trailer to get you to want to play, but it sets up the basic world and the factions, what's going on, and why. This trailer kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6TFfWuie62lkKs is what they play when you load up the game, segueing into your choosing your initial warframe, and playing the tutorial.

Warframe has one of the best communities ive ever seen. Sometimes when you are starting out and need something and try to trade for it sometimes someone that has it and doesnt need it gives it to you for free and all they ask in return is for you to do the same for someone in the future. 01:43 "I remember when it came out it was on PlayStation 3" The bulk of the player base is on PC, but it is on every console PS3, PS4, XBox, & Switch. It has just recently added support for iOS & Android, so you can even play it on your phone. 01:52 "I always thought it didn't have a story" It most defiantly does have a story. Its story puts many AAA games to shame. The community is very protective of the story, meaning even 8+ years after story plot points have been released, the community does not spoil the storyline, because this is a story you should experience for yourself. 01:54 "I thought it was an online only game" Yes it is a live service game, but you play with other people in PvE missions. Similar to Genshin impact you sometime play content with other people and the game matchmakes you into the same instance with PUGs, other times you could choose to just go with friends or go solo. 02:05 "This feels like a story OST" Yes it is. This song or various versions of it play at different moments throughout the story. 03:38 "Sounds like it has Asian influences as well" Yep, one of the promotion taglines is: "Ninjas play for free" 10:42 "Something like Destiny" Warframe and Destiny comparisons have been there since the beginning. They both came out at the same time, both were live service games, both are looter shooter games. However, in my opinion, Digital Extremes, who make Warframe, show how you should make a live service game and Bungie, with Destiny 1 & 2, has show how you shouldn't make one.

There was a point in their lifespan where they decided they wanted to be serious about their story, and be more. The children mimic their mother using the music here with the call of her voice, and in the end the mother is left singing alone, the children no longer echoing her cry. Second Dream onwards, their story gains a massive increase in quality and maturity. This OST in particular marks a turning point in Warframe both for the player and for the company itself. We All Lift Together and For Narmer are interlinked, and likely the next suggested OST's from Warframe. Sleeping in the Cold Below is the other big one.

While it's still a free game, Warframe is very different from what it originally came out as. The incredibly funny thing is that both your interpretations of the game are correct, and this theme first appeared right as the game shifted from one to the other. Which also means, uniquely, this was arguably the start of the real story and the introduction of several major characters and some of the fantasy elements, but also felt like a dramatic climax that rounded things off, even if you hadn't been playing for years beforehand. I've never seen anything quite like it.

Warframe story is pretty amazing. That comment which was like "100 hours into the game and I was presented a character creation screen" wasn't kidding. I am usually not that emotionally invested in games. Yeah, I can feel a bit sad or be happy for a character, but no other game catches me like Warframe. I have watched now maybe 20-30 players reach the moment this song plays, everyone reacts so differently and I am always emotionally touched. Even the song alone hits so precisely. And that was just the beginning. The very first real story quest. We got so much amazing content later, and everything has incredible music. I would 100% watch you play Warframe. I would 100% watch you listen to more Warframe music or, if you don't mind small spoilers watch the Prime Trailers. Good luck, Tenno!

First of all, I am so incredibly happy that you have finally gotten to warframe, even if only to listen to the music. I’ve been a part of the community for a long time and I love this game so much. You will likely never find a better gaming community than this one. Second I’ve seen a lot of suggestions for songs from warframe that you should listen to and I agree with all of them, that being said there is one song that just haven’t seen yet in the comments and that is smiles from juran. It has less instruments and is slower then some of the other ones but both is one of the most emotional pieces in the game both in and out of context. Regardless once again I am so happy to have this pop up in my subscriptions

This song is pretty much the heart of Warframe in many ways. The repeated motifs are powerful, untouchable, but also tranquil and serene. It's meditative, and it's meant to be. You can picture yourself cleaving through enemies while painting the very air with swirls of gore, yet altogether the image is still beautiful. More like a dance than a fight.

G.O.T, you sweet summer child, Warframe has one of the best stories in gaming, Free or otherwise, Avoiding spoilers, this song plays during one of the biggest reveals/plot twists in the game, something that, genuinely, as the title suggests, changes your entire perspective about who you are in the narrative, it's a moment that sticks with the player for a long, long time. I highly recommend checking out the games opening cinematic, but as for music, We All Lift Together or The Cold Below are both incredible songs with slight hints at parts of the history of the in-game lore.
@ttlpwn3411 ай бұрын
Warframe started as a bare bones arcade looter shooter with little in the way of characters and story. Planet bosses were just reskinned normal enemies with beefed up stats. It took a few years, but the story finally started to form into something meaningful when this song plays for the first time. The song title is literal, it plays when it's revealed that "This is What You Are." The story just keeps going up from there. The early game is still a bit... bare, but these days the game is designed to allow you to get through it at a reasonable pace to the first big main story quests.

This one isn't one of the greatest and most-beloved songs in Warframe just because it goes so hard, it's because of _context._ Without spoiling anything (because spoilers about the main storyline are absolutely _taboo_ in the Warframe community- regardless of what that prick said in the comments), this song was first used as the soundtrack for the part of the game that absolutely _transformed_ Warframe from just a fun looter-shooter to one of the greatest games of all time, no joke. The quest this song comes from was literally _revelatory._ If there was one observation you made in this video that was spot on, it's that this was the moment that taught us all that Warframe was _nothing_ like what we'd thought it was. I still get tears in my eyes, _literal tears,_ listening to this song, hearing Mother Lotus sing to us across the Origin System and all of us Tenno raise our voices in reply.

There is a lot of grind through the same map again and again till you get what you want out of the random tables, but there is also a TON of REALLY DEEP story, and yes, you can literally get EVERYTHING in the game on the grind... you can build it, but it takes hours, or even days, etc... or you can fund the game which is epically beautiful, and provided for your pleasure at no cost to you if you don't want to spend on it. To the point of when you go to buy things that cost platinum, it tells you where you can go farm it for free. Which is why many of us buy the plat, to support this work of epicness.

Ok imagine this. You been playing this game for easily years, lore wise theres small crums here and there, characters tell you about the "tenno", this "mistical" "somethings" that you are, you are called that, but you are never told who or what you are. At this point in the game you know something, the warframes (your playable characters) are so diferent from each other that makes no sense to be individual things, you are trully not even sure what they are. Theres lore pointing you out to certain details, but even so the comunity at the time this song came from, more specifically this quest was there a burning questions...who we are...what whe are...this quest, this need for answer...this second dream. Trought many years all the comunity asked wo we are...and this quest was our answer "this is what you are". This song threw the entire comunity out of wack, we got our answer, and it changed the landscape of the entire game forever. Warframe has one of the most friendly comunities out there, but also one of the most tight liped ones, we take VERY seriously the spoilers specially until this quest, and i can asure you, for every warframe player this quest gives you such a sense of "belonging" a sense of purpouse and definition like no other game. I can tell you, when you get to this point of the game, and as long as you pay atention to the lore, you are going to flip...and the story quest from this point and forward just get better and better and better. As for songs...we all lift togheter, smiles from juran, sleeping on the cold bellow

this soundtrack is kinda telling the story of the Tenno ( main characters in the game ) first there was one, hence one voice. Then there came more, hence the choir, then the war, hence the drums and "riff" part. Then they left, one by one, hence the toning down from warlike drums to choir to finally one single voice left. Atleast, thats how one could intepret the song.

Warframe's whole thing is about space ninjas. Both the "space" part and the "ninjas" part are important. That actually says a lot about not just the gameplay, but also the themes in this game. It's a hard post-human sci-fi. But at the same time, it has hints of high fantasy in it. It's hard to put a finger on it really. But in my personal experience, it's unlike any other game I've played in terms of the atmosphere and design. I'm not sure how it feels both futuristic and archaic at the same time. Speaking of which, I recommend We All Lift Together. You can watch the in-game cut scene on it too so you can take a peek at what it looks like. It's like a Dwarven working anthem but instead of Dwarves, it's a bunch of heavily augmented humans. And weirdly enough, it fits so well.

We All Lift Together One of my favorite video game OST's of all time. Warframe has some incredible music and deserves more attention! Edit: also the story behind Warframe is incredibly in-depth and lengthy. It has been compared to Destiny since the games started development. There is a lot of asian and fantasy elements but its mainly in a futuristic sci-fi setting where you are constantly discovering clues about what happened in the past and how your current situation came to be!

We got em boys 😂. In all honesty Warframe is super fun with friends. It is a different beast now than it was back when it first came out, and you will need to play a ton to reach this scene, but my god is it awesome.

you should deff play this with chat.. just rotate teammates with ppl from chat would be a great time.. and this is a game you can easily sink hundreds of hours into it and still feel youre just scratching the surface. The story is also really captivating and immersive.

Imagine Luke playing though this

Luke you need to watch the trailers for this game, you will be confused and amazed at the same time. Its taken over ten years now for the story to flesh out and its still ongoing.

"Second dream" quest is one of the best experiences for me in a game history. For me as for everybody else at first Warframe was that silly power fantasy game about space ninjas. But every small detail in game like for example faction lore facts, ingame events with choices (helping Alad V), small flavor text for characters you play (Ember codex)(etc.), which made no sense or weight before; those fully bloomed at the climax moment of this quest into a most beautiful story flower. Upon certain "shutdown" animation during reveal moment in this quest my brain short circuited being overfilled with flashbacks of information crumbs from the past and I was never able to see the game the same way as before. It was rough awakening, yet very pleasant one. With all the flaws of the game itself and story after that, which loses in quality imo, I had to give credit to the effort put into that moment of WF history.

Warframe the only game that presents a character creation screen 100-200 hours into the game lmao Also I highly recommend these two songs in a single video "We All Lift Together" and "For Narmer" Mainly because its the same people (in the game) singing these songs but these two songs have a COMPLETELY opposite vibe and kinda tell the story progression in an amazing way.

As someone with thousands of hours in Warframe, yes, the game has a very good story (even with the mess they do some times), this plays during a VERY SPOILY scene, which you can kinda guess by the name of the song, I suggest you playing the story of the game, but not playing the game for what it is at all which is pure grinding, the story is not too long and is very enjoyable. You could say that the story is a very f*cked up thing, because if you think about it it's VERY VERY dark, so much that it can hurt at some points. Also try: "We All Lift Together","Sleeping in the Cold Below","For Narmer","Duviri", each from a different point in the game, sometimes I wish warframe could get more updates focused in the story like what "The war within" was. And remember: "Ninjas play for free"

Warframe is basically an Single player MMO (which doesn't make sense if you just read it). I mean, there is co-op, there is PVP. there is trading. There are hubs for players to socialize. But it also has a story progression and you can definitely play it without having contact with any other player for thousands of hours.
