Minami is genuinely one of my favorite, and in my opinion, one of the most underrated Japanese vocalists of all time. Everything she puts out is gold, but she's criminally overlooked. I highly recommend you keep checking out more of her work.

It's only been a couple weeks since I found Minami and also her song main actor, I listened to crying for rain and waiting for rain first but after finding main actor, it just catched me so fast and ended up also being my favorite one. Lilac is also pretty good but main actor has my whole heart, her vocals in this are so unique and special, very deep lyrics and just overall such a good song. I'm so glad and graceful that I found and can listen to such a beautiful song

For me, since Main Actor, her first single released in December 2017, which is a depressed musician trying to find a place where she'll be recognized, gives much more meaning to Holowness. Holowness is someone who is suffering because she had to created a fake personality to please people, and she feels that she cannot go back. Even the people accepting her in Main Actor are present in Holowness, and they chose the girl with the black t-shirt (fake personality). Therefore, any Minami playlist should have Main Actor first, Holowness next.

I recommend watching "Oshi no ko". It's an anime whose first episode released yesterday. It's by the same author that made Kaguya-sama so there was already some anticipation but honestly nothing could have prepared us for what we got. The first episode is over an hour long but is such an emotional rollercoaster that I'm still reeling from it hours later. This looks like it might be one of those rare instances where we're seeing a historical moment in anime, a moment where a masterpiece begins and starts taking over the entire community conversation, like with AoT back in the day.
