I think I remember from an interview that fans did not respond positively to Barbara in season 1 & that’s why her character was rewritten

Her character is irritating. When she kills the men in the League of Shadows who submit to her and she declares a “men free zone” is completely ridiculous and stupid. They didn’t have to be sexist. They could’ve let Barbara run things per usual without all that men shaming bullshit.
