I like Levy, but he could really work on his podcast-hosting skills. He's really terrible at it. I actually agree with this comment for this pod.

I met David in Chennai and told him what I wanted to.. that I restarted chess because of him and that commentary, not sure how many are similar, am not here because of queens gambit or samay raina.. i am here because David's commentary which got my initial way of thinking.. and then gotham and sagar have helped my chess improve and many others have made me love it. Thank you David.. again...

Levy, it would be great to have an ‘average 1800’ player on the podcast who got into chess ‘post boom’, could ask you questions a lot of the audience want to know about high level chess, some inside info, and vice versa you could find out what has made the game so popular amongst the average joe. Happy to volunteer as your first guest 😆

I listened to this via a podcast app a few days ago. After David’s vivid description of playing chess for 18 hours with the laptop balanced on his belly; and also having just finished a long blitz session minutes before the interview - my mental image of how his camera would be setup for this interview was hilarious…. But alas, checking the video now he looks charming as ever lol.

David. Don’t read social media. You are an awesome chess player, commentator and from the little I can gather from all of your interviews and presenting, a terrific person. You are so humble for an exceptional GM chess player. Your analysis is top notch. Whenever I want to watch chess I look for your commentary first, second and third. Yasser fourth, he does have great stories from being a second to korchnoi. So, the racist idiots are not worth your time and energy. You are the man.
