The slow style which began around 2012 is really frustrating. They should speed up the game by implementing news rules. The NBA added a 24 second shot clock, an 8 second backcourt violation and spacing rules which resulted in a faster game. Roller Derby should add a rule that says defensive players have a limited amount of time to complete 1 lap (35 seconds for example) That way they can't just hang back and block all day.

Used to be the pack skated around the track the whole time. Then they started just standing there waiting for the jammer to come back around.

Bonnie Thunders has moves shes amazing...this is a legitimate sport regaurdless of how stupid people.think it is...its not something everyone can dona succeed at...it tough and even in the professional leauge they dont get paid...they pay for.all the gear themself.they pay mthly dues to do what they love...if they get hurt its on thier ins...i like the not so regulated leauges old school style...with the old skater tricks and moves and actal skating w a pack the more professional leauges have the blockers seems.like.only in one spot...I LOVE DERBY!
