This cutscene works so well as its own standalone short story. The fight starts with a bang, the use of the environment for the fight is incredible, and the emotional weight of batman's last stand for putting Ra's down for good and placing his trust in his family to protect Gotham after he is gone is portrayed wonderfully.

But honestly, sometimes I do root against him. I feel like all too often he goes up against these godly characters and nonsensically beats the breaks off of them. But most of the time, I just don't care about him at all. I just meant that in this particular scene, they managed to make me want him to win even though I knew he wouldn't. That's a hard feat to pull off, because the audience knows the outcome already, so some of the stakes are removed since we already know what's going to happen.

This is legit one of the best Batman fights I've ever seen, I love the desperate ingenuity of him using the environment and thinking quickly as he's getting stripped of more and more of his gadgets plus his clear mortality throughout the fight actually made it tense, Ra's was fantastic too I love how prepared he was it's just great on so many levels. No idea how the game actually plays but this makes me very interested in the story at least, I also love that this version of Batman overtly seems to care and trust his bat-family this cutscene had a lot of emotional weight surprisingly

Whatever the gameplay is like, the writing team on this game knew what they were doing. Every character is treated with a great amount of respect, the interactions all feel very natural and engaging, and the batfamily actually acts like a family. The only characters that got done dirty were Ra's and Talia, and even then, it's just that their attitudes aren't quite right, which is down to this being a different interpretation.

The most terrifying thing , is this shows Ras Al Ghul completely unhinged . His fights with Batman have more often than not come to a draw , and that's largely because he respects Batman enough that he's not actively going out of his way to kill him if he doesn't need to . This version's come to the conclusion that it's too late to have Batman on board , so the gloves are off and it shows you that without Ras's more honorable traits , he'd be an Unstoppable killing machine. Just let this sink in : Ras having a polite conversation with you , whilst plotting for world domination is actually the nice side of him.

Based on my closer detective observational analytical skills, this fight was strategical , ras al ghul poisoned batman in this fight *0:35* and at *1:04* he dislodged his unity belt rendering batman defenceless , *4:36* batman back kick the training dummy to create a smokescreen for him for subterfuge but it backslides and despite batman injury , he used whatever tools he had to his advantage , batman’s willpower and endurance to power though is remarkable. This is ras al ghul definitely not holding back
