I agree, I’m a bit disappointed, I really liked playing as Batman in the Arkham games, just being cool and beating people up. This game just doesn’t have the same vibes, I really hope it’s not one of those games that you have to grind and level up just to continue with the story, but it’s starting to look that way. It doesn’t look like you can counter or attack more than one enemy at a time. This was not what I imagined it to be.

Sinister Slug yeah so easy you could press triangle to counter stuns, riot shields etc. It had a reason why enemies were getting harder and we adapted to it therefore one shoting them. This though this is laziness just add in levels and health bars, just pure dumbness

@@marcusss7565 no....but in interviews patrick redding has confirmed that we can turn off the HUD. the levels are for identifying what strategy you must use to take the enemy out. since this is not batman, these characters are not at the level of batman himself......however they specialise in certain points which gives them advantage. that is the reason they show you the levels, to plan!

We get four whole Batman centered games, all of quality, and then a new game in the DC universe that was never confirmed to be a BATMAN game, where we get what we’ve been asking for years: playable bat family in a free roam lived-in city (co-op if you want)... and people are still complaining.

It's seems more of a hybrid between free flow and 3d brawlers. It''s been confirmed to be third-person brawler type. It's to give the player freedom but prevent the whole thing of flying 20 feet to the next enemy. Seems to be a hybrid and balance of the Arkham free flow and typical best em up combat. It's reminiscent of Arkham but unique enough to be its own identity. They don't seem to be glued or magically attracted to enemies but seem fluid and agile enough to keep up a combo and not have restrictive movement.

I hope the movement of the characters don't feel overly fast/quick like it looks in the gameplay. I like the feel of the arkham games. And the numbers/health bars are distracting.

I wasn't sure what I thought the first or second time I saw this and the trailer, but once I step back from all the expectations and what I thought the game might be or what everyone was hyping it up to be , it actually looks pretty good. I think it may be growing on me. Just hope it's not forced online play.

I know that it's technically not an Arkham game so there's a little bit of stuff different but with that being said there are a lot of Arkham similarities so does anyone know if they'll bring back detective mode? Really bummed out it's not an Arkham Knight sequel even though it seemed like it was by the trailer at first but I'm still very excited for this
