One of the earliest Elseworlds storylines featuring Dick Grayson stepping into the role of Batman actually had Batman and Ra's die in one last battle together (the Lazarus Pit is destroyed in the process so no more resurrections for Ra's). If anything, this game's plot is an expansion of that scenario. The basic idea isn't bad but the execution is where it will sink or swim.

The belfry has been used by a couple super heroes. It’s sort of a hide out for super heroes that loose their main hide outs. It’s been used by Oliver Queen (Green Arrow), Barry Allen (Flash), Clark Kent (Super Man), and Dr. Fate. There’s a thread in the comics where there’s a character that builds and buys and sells super hero hide outs. The bellfry is a multidimensional building made from magic that can alter civilians to believe the bell tower has always been there. It’s generally kept secret. However, it is generally used for the best of the best super heroes.

Robin is so slept on in this game. His combos are absolutely savage. I just finished the game with Robin and my buddy was Batgirl and we had an absolute blast. We currently running Ng+ with Nightwing and RedHood now

My all-time favourite Bat Family member is Dick Grayson, but for some odd reason I didn't quite synchronize with him through this game, so my second choice was Tim. So the bell free in the comics was a court of owl base before Batman came and cleared it out. It was used as 2nd base for the bat-family and included Cassandra (Batgirl, Backbat/Orphan), Batwoman, Batwing, Tim, and Clay Face. Also the mech suit that Jim had when he was Batman was there.

I'm about two hours into the game, but I think it's pretty obvious that the League (or Ra's) wanted to kill Batman so they could put him in the Lazarus pit and bring him back as the new leader. Ra's already knows that Batman is too focused on "good" to lead the League of Assassins, and Batman said he would rather die than lose his humanity (by going in the pit). Talia says repeated trips to the Lazarus pit strips a person of "their old self", so once Batman is brought back, he will probably be less reluctant to use the pit, and also lead the League.

For certain missions even for the main story ones they’ll have u do like 5 crimes first. Like the story will pick up but it grinds to a halt and has u do these stupid side missions. Bruh this video hurts, basically the gotham knights exist in the comics. But its not the exact group from this game since in the comics jason, dick and Barbara are doing there own things. The comic group is Batwoman, Clayface, Orphan, Spoiler, Red Robin, Batwing and Azrael. Tim built the base in the belfry for that group because obviously batman probably doesn't want lots of people in his cave, Barbara has her own base in the gotham clocktower. Jasons lore isn't really that interesting i love him but dies comes back because super boy prime and the pit made him remember stuff. Nightwing is famously everyone's favourite because he's such a great guy.

The Belfry is canon, i think mainly it's Barbara Gordon's place of operations whenever she's working as Oracle. basically a second Batcave but it's actually in the city as opposed to the Batcave under Wayne Manor outside the city. "Belfry" is the part of a belltower where the actual bell is. "Bats in the belfry" is a fairly common phrase that means crazy or eccentric

The number one reason people dislike this game is because it dosent have that fluid easy to pick up Beat em up Arkham Combat nor the gamelpay mechanics and physics from those games. Way back when this game got anounced that It wasn't in the Arkham Universe a lotta people started bashing the game even then despite never seeing gameplay. The Fans wanted "Arkham" Gotham Knights by Rocksteady not Gotham Knights by WB Montreal. I on the other hand am also having a blast as you can play the campaign at your own pace so that you never feel underleveled or unprepared for anything the game throws at you its all in the timing.

depending on the timeline, Ra's trained batman and was a founder of the leage with over 1000 years of combat expirence. Hes one of the deadlist fighters in dc, so batman dying to him isnt unreasonable

Yooo Afro don’t hate in Ra’s. He is a top tier villain. Man trained Batman, leads a group of assassins that affect the world with their actions, has been alive for centuries due to the Lazarus out which gives him knowledge others don’t, and finally he got hands.

Ra’s Al’Ghul is definitely S tier. He’s one of the few villains who can actually beat Batman in a straight up fight.

The one mistake that people keep making is comparing this to the Arkham series…when it’s been stated that it’s not part of the Arkham series multiple times. It is it’s own stand alone game
