Hi Seth and Chris, I just wanted to let you guys know that your channel was the very first I subscribed to back in 2010 as a tween - I didn't know what subscribing meant, so I asked my mom, and she said subscriptions usually costed money, but I googled it and found out it was free on KZbin. I loved watching you guys through middle school and part of high school but life happened and eventually forgot about the channel. But now as a post-college adult I remember this channel now and then and come back to watch and it's such a pleasant experience every time. I hope you guys keep having fun playing games and keep sharing with us.

Hey I consider Origins as canon to the Arkham games and was very underrated. Plus the multiplayer was alot of fun.

Arkham Origins is fine, but I had to sort of decouple it in my mind from the rest. Roger Craig Smith is a good Batman, but to consider the character he played as the same guy in the "canon" Arkham games is tough for me. I'm kind of detaching this as well. Not bad by ANY means.. I like this game a lot. But it's not Rocksteady calibur. Can't argue with a beautiful city, amazing sound and SOLID co-op mechanics. Those help bump up some of the things I'm dinging it on now. Just started playing this and Seth is spot on about the weird feeling with the controls for those of us who played the Arkham games. Still, it's a great adventure with a solid story. One more thing, the Batcycle feels way too sluggish. They need to buff its horsepower for the next patch.

Yeah, I noticed they use a lot of "whoosh" effects around the screen, both on the Batcycle and the Flying Trapeze.. I'm not falling for it. It's still pretty slow. Thanks for watching and letting us know what you think, Hylanvahr! -Seth

On my opinion, it’s not the best game ever, but I still rated a 10 out of 10. The combat is pretty good, the controls are a little loose and it’s slippery as Seth mentioned, it has a pretty good bat cycle feature, and the audio sync is fantastic. Hopefully will get a part two.

Josh, I'm right there with you on Audio Sync and Audio Design. The game sounds GREAT, especially on my headset. I'm hoping a future update can de-slippify the combat controls. I never trust who I'm going to hit next, and in tight hallways, corners, the camera starts working for the bad guys and won't show me anything worth seeing. -Seth

We're having a blast with it, warts and all. Chris had SEVERAL crashes last night on his Series S. I didn't on my Series X, but we've determined one time we know it happens, when he's full-blast on his Batcycle. We were either 2 of 2 or 3 of 3 on his crashes being Batcycle related, like the game can't keep up with the speed. -Seth

@@thecoopmode I have been digging it. I love the premeditated crimes, the stealth, the combat is a bit finicky at times but the crafting/outfits etc are soooo good. Open world with customization ... that's my forte.

Me and my brother got this game on our ps5s, id say our main complaint is why in cinematics or cut scenes do we not see eachother in them. Its like this in like every coop game we play, never get to see both our characters talk and interact with eachother in the cut scenes. My brother just appears out of thin air after the cut scene next to me. I want it to be like deadspace 3 coop.

Agreed on the cinematics, GCPD. That would have been cool to see your selected characters, whether taking turns with dialog (like we saw in Star Wars: The Old Republic on the show last week) or just silent in the background, letting the host take the "lead" in the conversation. It's nice to see as well that there these two guys here that can play it and not immediately be like "This is terrible, nothing is right, 2/10, game is broken!" They play it, appreciate it for what it is and the fact that it has Co-op, exactly what they are asking for, great job Co-op Mode!

That's the thing, most people just sit there in comments, Twitter or review bomb games for what they aren't or for questionable tactics (fair enough). Instead of complaining about games you won't play, just spend your time playing games? I play Gotham Knights on Steam and while it isn't perfect, it has it's charm. And I find it hilarious that a lot of those people instantly compared it to Arkham Knight, saying it was more polished and looked better (which is debatable) than Gotham Knights. The ironic and short minded point that seemed to go over all their heads is that Arkham Knight had an absolute atrocious start, where I don't think Gotham Knights ever reached. I get people want to compare games as measuring standards, but the reality is judge the game on it's own merits. Enjoy it for what it is, not what it isn't.. or just play something else instead that you can enjoy. I appreciate the candid chatter about the game, but at the same time enjoying it for what it is.

@@inawegaming Yeah, exactly! That's all I see nowadays is just awful reviews and peoples' obscenely high standards for games that to degree is ubderstandable but then the overall bashing of games. I do also see myself all the time comparing games to similar ones or ones with a identical plot or art style or playstyle or even focus, etc. but mostly doing so just for the sake of doing so and also because I like to point out familiarities or similarities since that is fine with me, not judging it by any means. I am glad so see others with thoughtful comments and not just trashtalking and beligerantly bashing a game because it isn't platinum perfection!

I do NOT believe this is part of the Arkham trilogy (we don't talk about Origins). Just coincidental that the beginning of this has Batman with the same "status" as the last game. However, the opening 15 minutes of the game show they are not connected. Thanks for your comment! -Seth

It's a fair point, Vanessa.. I tend to think the same thing, actually, but there is a nice benefit of co-op play with people that you can't be together with. This game is disappointing, even the oldest batman, Batman Arkham Asylum is better in almost everything, the only good thing of this game is that you can co-op
