I love how if you look at Gordon when Alfred is trying to flirt with Leslie, Gordon gives Bruce a look, and it looks like Bruce gives a knowing look back to him, its a subtle detail, but its those kinds of details that really show off their already growing friendship

One of my favorite Gotham episodes, Jerome was just awesome and when they killed them off I told myself...WHY!? But then I saw the part when people started to laugh being as like a Joker drug but I still didn't like when they killed him off. Maybe when the show is finally over they might show Bruce as Batman but older (huh) going to confront Jerome but he already the Joker. I'm not saying it will happen but its sounds pretty awesome to end a show but that me. Great video.

The reactions to Gotham Season 2 keep getting better and better. Everybody did a great job (still miss Hana though). Did Becka and Briana sign a peace treaty? There was some "exit buddy" reassurance hugs between them. Out of character. (Or is this a clever joke on the Fandom with Brittany and Briana switching hair styles and persona). All in all it was the best review of the best episode of Gotham so far.

Ladies, your reaction to this was basically a more ramped up version of my reaction. I was alightly angry, a little bummed that it was missed as an opportunity and am still a little in denial about it as an issue. Cameron Monaghan did pretty good with it. I liked that at different times he incorporated different versions of the character into his performance. Sometimes I think he went a little over the top with it at points, but he worked for it. I was a little into Leslie and Alfred myself personally. But agree ya'll that Barbara shouldn't be Harley Quinn. But this was the first actual time when I could see a similarity in performance between the two. This was a fun reaction! God bless you all! God bless everyone in your lives! God bless everyone!

They ruined the arc that they went with Jerome, Joker is not a copy of someone else, he is an original concept and he became the Joker by just becoming the Joker he didn't copy the style, act, personna from someone else. If Jerome doesn't comeback in this show as the Joker then they need to just stop with Joker references because if someone else becomes the Joker due to them seeing Jerome then the Joker is just another random fan trying to replicate what Jerome did... And that is not what The Joker is. They could have made Jerome leave the maniax and join the Red hood little group and eventually become the Red hood for the majority of his young adult life and then ones Batman is a thing in this show, something happens with them that would lead for Jerome through phases and eventually start his gang of clowns and from that he would eventually become the Joker we all love, with some twist and turns along the way to keep that mystery about him.

2wingo Yeah but that's what he believes to be his legacy, he can inspire other people to become like him but he was never inspired by another villain to become what he is. He was inspired to become what he is by Batman really not by another villain. He didn't copy the personna of the Joker from somebody else, Batman basically revealed to him what he was all along and that was The Joker. Its super believable that before the Joker and before the Red hood, he was some crazy lunatic that loved chaos and had ambition to become someone like the Joker, he just needed Batman to make him see himself in the mirror and reveal who he was. That's why he is so obsessed with Batman, they are two sides of the same coin but really they are both sides of the same coin, its just that Batman fights for good where Joker tries to push him to the dark side with him.

What they did with Jerome was introducing the concept of the Joker and the fact that it was broadcasted meens that someone else might be the Joker. I like The idea of The Joker beeing a mystery

Much as I hate that they killed Jerome, it does make sense when you think about it. Jerome was too old to have been the Joker that Batman faces again and again. So I think it's kind of cool that instead, he's the inspiration for the actual Joker.

I don't know if you've figured this out yet or if somebody else has told you but Jerome is simply the original joker. This show implies that the Joker we see in the Batman timeline is a copycat if this guy, but obviously goes to much further extremes.

I think it's good that they removed Joker from the scene, as great as Cameron is as Jerome, it's not only so obvious but he's also starting to overshadow the actual main characters, this isn't the Joker show and his presence will always make things that way, so having this big arc and then keeping the mystery up so their other characters can get to shine is a good decision, there's only so much Jokerism that can be brought in especially when Batman isn't even there yet to really face him

To be honest, since he appeared in Season One, I did not believe he's Joker because The Joker is my favorite villain and doing this "origin story" of The Joker does not cut out for me. I like what their trying to do in Season One, having little hints and there of who could be The Joker. The Comedian in the pilot, the kid who picked up that Red Hood mask, etc. But for this Season, their really want us to believe he is indeed The Joker. Kept telling myself, "Okay. This is Gotham. I am indeed waiting to see Jared Leto's Joker, and I'm sure he will impress me. And I know Jerome is not the Joker according to the show. I'm saying that IF they were always planning to kill Jerome off, they should have had Jerome played by a lesser actor, while Cameron Monaghan instead be saved for later seasons to play the TRUE Joker. You won't find an actor that young who can act the Joker better is what they're saying.

Jerome is NOT the Joker, that's what people don't get. The thing about the Joker is that anyone knows how he's became the Joker, that's what makes him the Joker. There are several origin story but we'll never know. So i think the writers did an excellent job to finally not put the Joker in the show, instead they give to Cameron/Jerome the best role : his legacy is his madness, and someday someone will be the Joker because of him. Jerome created the Joker, that's the origin story.
