Wolverine & Rogue - Not Strong Enough

Wolverine and Rogue were my very first official fan girl crush! I'd loved different pairings before these two, but I'd never even known that vidding was a "thing" that regular people could do until I started shipping Rogan. My amazing friend Tasha (aka Morgoth2001) and I met due to this awesome pairing as we were both writing fan fiction for them at the time. She introduced me to the wonderful world of vidding and my very first vids were for Rogan. Looking back on them now, they're pretty awful! We were using Windows Movie Maker back then which was just plain terrible! LOL! But you work with what you have. I've since graduated to Sony Vegas Pro 11 which is about a billion times better!
So this is my very first vid ever for this particular pairing, using this software. I can only HOPE that this vid blows my old crappy ones out of the water! haha! I've been out of this fandom for quite a while. Not because my love for them ever changed, but life gets busy and you get distracted with other things. Fortunately for me, the greatest fan fic ever written for Rogan was able pull me back in! It was a challenge to make it look real, but with the upgraded software it was certainly easier than it used to be! heh. I've been wanting to vid this song for a while but didn't have the right pairing for it. Originally I wanted to do Dean/Jo from Supernatural but there is so little footage of them that it was really hard. But I'm glad I waited because W/R is way better!

I completely agree. They made a huge mistake by cutting Rogue out of the movie so much in X3. And the serious lack of Rogan moments was disappointing to say the least. Glad you liked my vid tho :)

What a shame.... Good chemistry between actors are hard to come by. Hugh's other movies' love interests don't strike me like Anna and Hugh in W/R story. In fact, he doesn't appear in a lot of chicks' movies. Dame the writer/producer/director....

Right on bub! Writers may not want to write W/R as romantic couple but the chemistry between Anna and Hugh can't be ignored. No vibe from B/R and no vibe from W/J either. The writers sure make mistakes since X men #1. Well, there are always fan made videos!

You are absolutely right. Bryan Singer doesn't put his X men universe out there by writing Rogue and Logan together and not follow thru in X-2 and X-3. Sure, Halle Berry was huge after she won the Oscar, but Rogue and Logan's chemistry is clearly on the screen. I don't care what other people say about Logan's age. Hey, he is older than every singe female in X-Men comics/movies/books. Rogue is the only one who could delay her aging by absorbing his mutation. Maybe Bryan Singer wants to build a strong Rogue but he got replaced when he couldn't finish Superman Return on time. Fans hate X-3. I know I did and still do. And what's up with the DOFP. I did finally got a copy of the Rogue Cut. Hopefully the studio will realize how fans want Rogue and Logan to be together since the upcoming Wolverine will be the last movie for Hugh. : p

How many movies is Rogue in? Many of these scenes between them I never saw. Can you give me a list of X-Men movies that she featured in?

Rogue is only in X-Men, X2 and X-Men The Last Stand. So the majority of the shots in this video are from those 3 movies, but I also used some footage from other Anna Paquin movies such as Margaret, Darkness and her TV Show True Blood. And some additional Wolverine footage from X-Men Origins Wolverine. But these are just the places that I got the footage from, if you're looking for these specific scenes between them, most of them do not exist because I made them. I used my editing software to create scenes between them that never happened in any of the movies. I wish they were real! But unfortunately not :(

I loved Wolverine. First Class was great in my opinion, but as a stand alone. X3 I enjoyed, simply because it was 'X-Men'... but it wasn't nearly as strong as the first 2. I still like it, but it's my least fave of the 3.
