Even today I would play vanilla Gothic without feeling bad about it. It aged like fine wine or no one would bother anymore to create mods for it.

1:40 the original colours with a tinge of pink and red in the sky is still good in its own ways. It gives a different atmosphere as though it is about the rain soon.

I really like the vegetation, mountains and textures, they're all great, drawing distance is perfect, not too close, not too far, just what we need. But there's something wrong with the lighting, the atmosphere doesn't feel so unfriendly like it did before. I would also reduce the forest around old camp, I reckon the ground was kept clean and flat on purpose in order to see any threat around the camp before it actually becomes trouble.

looks awesome although i think theres too much forest around the old camp, they prolly kept it free on purpose in the original since the old camp fears of new camp attacks, thats why there is a trench as well

Also, it would be natural to have no woods around the camp since from a worldbuilding perspective they would have cut the immediate surrounding trees to get wood for the palisade and the huts

Hihi, sieht sehr schön aus und freundlich. Und dass ist ein Problem, ich mag die dunkle depressiv bösartige Atmosphäre im Original. Die leere und stellenweise tote Gegend geben Gothic 1 auch ein Stück Charakter. Dennoch sehr schöne Arbeit, es fühl sich beim zuschauen wie eine neue Welt an 👍

I like the clear sky, but the vanilla drawing discance should be kept to avoid the mistake gta definitive edition did destroying the illusion of big world. Also the namesless's face looks goofy but overall the remake looks cool.

I actually don't feel like the drawing distance is a problem here. The world of Gothic isn't huge, and it doesn't need to be. It doesn't pretend to be, either. Right from the start, it's made clear that it's basically one valley. I actually like that from a proper vantage point, you can see almost the entire world laid out before your very eyes. It doesn't hurt the feeling here, in my opinion.

Not a fan of the meatbug's health bar floating above it. The health bars being fixed to the edges of the screen gave the game a clean, organised look and helped with immersion. I also dislike the walking animations and the extent of contrast on the hero. If the foliage was tuned down a bit, I'd really like the world.

Okay, I understand the desire to make the game look fresher, but all this fucking grass is getting on my nerves. This is the primary supply line between the Colony and the outer world, a place whete all the goods, with all the guards come through regularly (and probably where an ambush or two from the New Camp took place)... and the overgrowth makes you think no one even walked there in years.

przecież te modele w gothicu są w juhc koślawe, a z takimi teksturami to wygląda zbyt plastelinowo i kłuje w oczy jak cholera... do gothica 1 instaluję jedynie dx11 i z oryginalnymi teksturami nadal jest klimat i nadal przypomina się dzieciństwo, bo gothic to dzieciństwo

Есть инструкция как это исправить. в самом конце. Надо всех exe файлам выставить совместимость с xp и запуск от имени администратора. Еще выставить DEP в свойствах компьютера в Быстродействии.
