This track conveys the feeling of something ancient more than many other soundtracks, something ancient dark, deep under the earth, like you discover an unbelievable ancient structure kilometres under the surface, billion years old (similar to Lovecraft). It is a earnest, in a strange way more haunting emotion than our typical "dark" soundtracks. It is a vast form of sorrow, to big for single humans to understand.

Sleeper's temple had this almost lovecraftian feel to it. Demons in Gothic 1 were not connected to Beliar yet, they were an outside, alien threat and this music conveys it very well. Its like some ancient, alien thing deep beneath the ground, unimaginable for people.

Man, they don't make em' like they used to. This is definitely some of Rosenkranz best work. And I love the Risen Soundtrack, but it just doesn't compare to this. Funny too, it vaguely reminds me of Resident Evil 2 laboratories.
