I've been to heaps of different stores that don't have specifically goth clothes. But they actually have heaps of shoes and clothes that can fit into the gothic style! Glad you mentioned it :)

Tbh most of my favorite goth outfits are made up of pieces from non goth shops and thrift stores! It’s so worth looking everywhere instead of limiting oneself to only alternative clothing store’s 🖤

I once got some shoes that look similar to pikes in a little biker shop in the village I grew up in. My friend also got a trench coat from there for her birthday. As you stated being Goth is not expensive and I love the shoes a lot. Hopefully I can go back and try to get some more things like another pair of shoes or maybe a trench coat or leather jacket.

I'd get winklepickers as I love the style but I have really wide feet and if I ever found any they wouldn't fit, and shoes like demonias to me from what I've seen seem pretty low quality outside the looks market for their pricing but I don't know :)

Tbh I would say most Winklepickers are low quality. They don’t really have any support, can wear down quickly since they don’t have hardly any tread, and most I’ve come across are made with more style and special event kind of wear in mind rather than everyday and comfort. I have a few of the Demonia Warlocks and I don’t think they are too bad compared to a lot of my others as far as durability goes (they do also tend to be a little wider than some other pairs I have as well), they aren’t as comfy as many others though. They definitely all have different cons depending on what brands and styles you look at. I plan on making another updated shoe video soon!

Best quality platforms I know of are New Rocks, those are gonna be quite spendy though. Most people go with Demonia’s which aren’t known for great quality, but are generally the best you can get at more affordable prices.

Unfortunately Demonia’s are meant to be fashion shoes, not really meant for everyday wear so if you’re want durable or high quality they may not be the shoe for you. New Rocks are fairly similar and are known for lasting but can be VERY pricey. Good old doc martens are good for everyday wear and can be very stylish as well tho!

They are lower on the comfort scale compared to most of my other shoes in this video. I would say they are pretty decent quality aside from the chains on them (they come off a few times, but I just safety pin them back in place)

Personally, I dont like Demonia or their boots. I think theyre garbage. Most of the boots I buy are 100% leather and no zippers. Zippers tend to get damaged rendering the boots useless. Good quality goth boots can cost a fortune but, theyre usually worth it and last a life time. I still have all my boots from when I was younger and have long been discontinued. Most likely they will forever never be reconstructed again.. Which is nice cause no one else can get them so I dont have to worried about being copied lol!
