Once again, Nitocris - like to loathe her, hate to abide her. It's just that cruel treachery inherent in the very cores of her kind, as she herself very well declares. Boil, boil, toil at trouble. She's quite the presumptive usurper, stemming from her disconnected, visitor's recounting impressions of her beloved Lahmian Silver Citadel. Ironic, too, requiring cover from the daylight merely to enter, much less attack or dominate, the Nehekharans' land of the hottest sunlight in the world. The lich priest scorpion constructs are another fun, creative addition to the Tomb King's various units. Their attack initiated mental comparisons to the similarly-sized arachnids in Clash of the Titans. Ghouls make for satisfying infantry fodder. Andraste's three confined amigas invoke more curious intrigue this late in the story. It's also appreciable for a listener's imagination that the poor eight slaves' “most painful as possible” deaths were not described. Octavia's perpetually morbid use of human bodies and body parts is enough litany of vivid necromantic recipes for me. Plottin' and schemin' and conspirin', one and all, how relaxing! Hah, no matter, this Saturday's first Narrated part of this weekend to this great story is as welcome as ever, goodly GDN. Thank you, as usual, for your ongoing presentations of it, as the Warhammer novel presenting the most individual female voices for you to impersonate yet.
