Bopped a smasher of a run on map 2 with some really nice and precise lines, a run that's definitely gonna take some effort to beat. 4 isn't that amazing, basically every sector can be optimized by a good bit. Solid run overall though. 8 started off really strong with my best start and mid bundled with a sub-par ending which cost me a big chunk of time, unfortunately. My run on 9 is solid, had some better starts but the mid was really quick. 10 is good despite some timeloss in the long left dirt corner before the ice. Still not sure whether it's worth it to land smoothly in the ice slope or jump farther like I did. Ice mysteries...
22 still haunts me to this day. A really stupid reactor boost part basically makes or breaks your run - and in my run I've hit it with as much speed as never before. Sadly I got distracted/excited by that HUGE minus on my PB that I completely died afterwards. Lots of potential left on that one.
The run on 23 came out of nowhere with sudden speed gains in the end which I've never seen before. Had much faster starts and mids but the end is more decisive than it might look like. Therefore, solid run but not entirely satisfied with it. Quite satisfying was the run on 24 which bundled solid sections overall with the most important bits being driven very nicely. Still some time left to be gained here and there but I'm still happy with it for now.
With these runs under my belt I am currently leading Fall 2020's campaign by a comfortable margin and I'm looking to hold that until the end of the season to win a trophy!

Nope, the air time you get from jumping over the reset ruins your speed completely.

It seems possible but it's really difficult to make the bounce worth + you'd need a really solid run anyway to make it worth it. I doubt anyone's gonna pull it off.

riolu, im keyboard player, is it possible on track 09 do the first checkpoint 4.4??? i always get 4.6 very rarely 4.5 on keyboard, with controller i can get 4.4 no problem, i just dont know if if its possiblr on keyboard, i see raceta in top5 but dont know how he did it... basically if i dont get first cp right going downhill thats like 1 seconds difference already in the middle, my pb is 35,5 and i believe i could improve if i could just do the beginning i just dont know if i should even try on kb

The beginning on 9 is really difficult to drive with a keyboard at WR speed. The first corner requires a technique called nosliding, which involves steering as gently as possible in order not to slide out whilst driving down the hill. On top of that, you need to avoid making any further steering movements during a gear change. Very difficult start, even for controller players like myself. Perhaps looking at my inputs in the top right corner can help you to further understand what I mean by nosliding and the gear changes. Raceta did the start decently with keyboard but it's much harder to be consistently fast I assume.

Hey, welcome back to the community! :] Trackmania is indeed highly competitive with active time attacking in many different titles of the franchise and esport competitions happening on a daily base. There are plenty of active KZbinrs and Twitch streamers providing lots of relevant Trackmania content for you to follow. I personally play since 2008 and haven't really taken any breaks ever since. Started improving quite fast by diving into the time attack scene quickly and then started to play competitions as well. Trackmania is quite a complex game and takes lots of time and effort to get to the top. The skill ceiling is quite high so the amount of commitment shouldn't be underestimated.
