I've read a few Shadamy stories and yeah they do kind of follow this kind of plot Sonic hurts Amy usually by rejecting her harsher than usual, Shadow comforts or helps her, or even flat out dates her, Sonic finally realizes he does like Amy and tries to get her back. This arc mostly does seem to follow that formula.

I completely agree...the fact that Sonica waited until someone else, especially her rival Shadie took interest in Jamey to actually start giving a damn about him after everything Jamey did for Sonica...if Sonica wanted to be like that with Jamey then she should have no problem with Jamey being with Shadie, what makes us think Sonica would treat Jamey right, he loves her so much but she always treated him so poorly by saying stuff like this is weird, it's awkward being alone together etch when all Jamey wanted to do was to take care of Sonica and take her out on a date but she kept acting like it was the end of the world and soon as Shadie wants to then Sonica goes nuts and gets really angry at her and Jamey for that which just isn't fair for Jamey, much the same way Amy was only ever being sweet to Sonic yet he treated her not so well, it's a shame that Shadow isn't trying to show her more affection that she isn't getting from Sonic

Okay I’ve got more than one thing to say Firstly ever since Shadie gave Jamey that love letter his relationship with Sonica has been different Secondly I really DON’T believe Shadie likes Jamey and she’s just trying to make Sonica mad because she hates her and she likes seeing her angry and upset Thirdly I feel like Jamey’s STILL in love with Sonica and probably ALWAYS will be and Finally Sonica IS JEALOUS and she needs to stop lying to herself and admit she likes Jamey back I know she was only pretending she was alright but I could tell she was HURT I hate to see her like that I feel bad for Jamey too THIS is ALL Shadie’s fault if she hadn’t given him that love letter NONE of this would be happening!!! She’s REALLY standing in the way of Sonica and Jamey. This is what I think they should do for a future video Jamey has to tell Shadie that he CAN’T be with her because he STILL loves Sonica then he needs to go to Sonica and reassure her that he still loves her and she has NOTHING to worry about and maybe they could be together because this is a NIGHTMARE for the SonicaXJamey shippers.Please this crazy love triangle needs to STOP cause if it doesn’t somebody’s going to get hurt if you do that on THIS channel or Tails’ channel I’ll subscribe
