I'm not sure if you know this, but when you free the other characters they will have unique dialogue for each Sonic depending on which one you last played. When you freed Amy, she said that to Classic Sonic, but freeing her as Modern Sonic will have her say something else. That's all I have to say, and good luck on this playthrough!

I'll give you a little info about it. The game celebrates Sonic's 20th anniversary by including 3 levels in each of the 3 eras, classic, dreamcast, and modern from Sonic 1 all the way to Sonic Colors. Hope that helped!
