Gotway/BEGODE EX Review ❌ Suspension KING for Top Speed and heavy weight Riders

I've got 400 miles on the EX. Ive owned 10 wheels mostly all GW. Just to put it simple the EX is the best riding experience of all the wheels. I use Clark pads and spiked pedals. I weigh 175llbs. I have no problem accelerating, its super fast and torquey. The braking is great super stable no wobbles. High speed riding is also super great and always likes to ride high 30's and 40 mph. If anything it would go faster but it can't due to cutout. Once you get good on the EX it will bring you to new levels of EUC riding. The suspension works great for me. The combination of having a 3500w motor and 1200psi under each foot is just next level and very powerful combination. Carving is ike nothing else because you can jump into turns and preload jumps and obstacles in the road. It is soooo smooth and responsive and the high pedals are great for carving and sharp turns. Overall just love the EX!! After riding this wheel it is hard to go back to riding other wheels . The feel and performance is like no other!!

Is a question of safety.. I will stick with the 38mph to advert me to slow down. Remember, safety first. When it beeps you at 38 is not tilting you back so you still have room because when you hit the 38 mph and it beeps is normal that you reach a bit more but you should respect.. This wheel is a ver power motor so takes a good chunk of battery so when I say some numbers here is always about safety first never will recommend something to put you in a not so good situation. I would say per example the Commander HS. I know A HT will be better but didn’t like the HT. The exn HS Also will be interesting (HT in this one is even worst than on The Commander). Hope it helped sorry to answer just now but I’m on holiday

Does yours also have the water hole to the controller? As in does the new version also flood the controller when riding in the rain? Begode said they're working on it, but haven't seen any results from testing yet.

I disnt open this one but this wheel have been passing by extrem bad conditions with water almost on the pedals. I will be opening and checking but this was an initial wheel

​@@MADpack If / when you open it, please record it too, I'm interested to see if they have already changed the production wheels. Since the review unit that was sent to ecodrifd and which they disassembled on their site had some major issues with waterproofing and danger of a short circuit or fire.

Great video bro. As a heavy rider I really did like riding the EX. It felt like it was made for someone my size and my weight. I just hate the terrible headlight the terrible trolley handle and the fact that it has no RGB Lighting. Well I guess I have to mention that I hate the price also LOL. Other than that it’s a fantastic wheel LOL

MADpack as lightweight as you are I would say no bro it’s not something that you need to keep in your stable. There are so many other wheels that are better for lightweight riders like you but then again you already know that....LOL

Thats really hard for me because i have to many wheels. Overall i will get a v11 because it covers everything beaide speed and range but give me confort quality good lights (not perfe t but the best) the second will be maybe the sherman for range and speed or a secret wheel (coming this year that Im a tester)

I have multiple gotways never had issues have multiple friends with gotway never had issues im friend with multiple distributors beside jason this year never had issues.. And the issue that ive been seeing is in the monster pro no?

@@MADpack not sure about the monster pro but from what I have seen their cables/wiring is done in a way that is much less safe than a wheel like the Sherman for example.

I agree we want them safer I complain about the msp and rs for ages.. That lack of insulation is ridiculous. But ive been really put this one to the test and until now it working well lets see when i open the wheel

way too expensive, way too heavy, piss poor range for 2700wh, suspension yet not designed at all for offroad...Sorry but it's just not a very good wheel, just like the Monster Pro. Sherman all the way if you like a big powerful wheel.
