Gouldamadine in volière, Gouldian Finches outside aviary

Mijn Goulds zitten zomer en winter in de volière. Ze hebben een nachthok in de schuur, waar ook hun voer te vinden is. Mijn vogels zijn natuurbroed, ik hang de broedblokken in de volière en dus geen kweekkooien. De jongen ring ik om ze goed te kunnen registreren en om inteelt te voorkomen. En voor de zang nog een Mozambiquesijs er tussen.

No way, it's the parents Who raise them. They will stay all together for at least 1 year. All the young and parents. Thats colony breed. After the first moult I will select and sell.

Hello Gustavo, it won't take longer than a day. If I buy a new bird I alway relais it inside, because there they can find the food and water. Outside I don't have food. So then he/she will follow the other birds. The jong born birds they learn it from there parents to go inside because they are born outside. Have fun with my other films at Remco Peters Gouldamadine

Nee dat lijkt zo bij de blauwe gould heeft kopkleur niet helemaal zwart. In het verleden wel 1 gehad met een Oranje kop maar na rui kreeg die weer kop veren.

hi, when can I move into one your tropical-paradise aviaries? They are both very nice but I have a slight preference for the one with the fountain. (also, great phenotypes there, the blue-backs wow!!! are they generally as robust as the wild-types?)

Thanks it’s 1 aviary the first one you see that’s inside where the Goulds can fly into for there food. And also stay for the night if it’s getting to cold. They can go outside the hole year. Mostly they sleep outside. I breed kolonie so don’t keep them in breeding cages. So yes they are generally robust as the wild types

How I can know the Male from the female

The male got brighter color and mostly a red beak. , Longer tail and is singing and jumping in front of others. Female got a black beak and is not singing. Colors are more flat. This is at wild color birds.
