What is great about this is the use of spices to enliven a relatively simple dish. After a long trek those spices, handled very well, must be a real morale booster.

Thank you Liam. I’m always on a look out for some kind of fresh ingredients to elevate my outdoor dishes. Sometimes the little things under our very nose is what makes an easy meal into a simple yummilicious meal. And you know it, after a long day out, you need a morale boost.

That parmesan is a stroke of genius!! We must have all cobbled together various one pot noodle meals out in the field, but I can see a good handful of shaved cheese is gonna take it to another level....thanks for the tip 🙂

Thank you 🙏 hey, I love cheese and I just thought what rock of a cheese is normally and acceptably kept out in the open to mature… Parmesan. So it’s something I can carry on a trek without too much of an issue especially lightweight as shavings. High calorific, tasty and goes well with a red pepper pesto drenched in olive oil 😊 It’s a good one! Cheers again.

Another interesting video Shameer. My other half always lightheartedly jokes when i take my OEX Tacana stove and some usually dehydrated meals and hot flask of water plus coffee. Its part of the mini adventure in my opinion plus food taste sooo good when you're on a hike. She would have a field day with your mini kitchen lol. Good for you.

Thank you very much. I love cooking in the wild; creative juices kick in, it's fast, food tastes better and wonderful senses! Cooking in the wild is definitely an adventure in itself. Sounds like your wife should get her own mini kitchen too ☺

To be fair, the knife is super sharp but the container I had the chopping board on was unstable making it very awkward to chop on 😂 thanks again. I appreciate your support!
