Gourmia Toaster Oven Air Fryer Review

I recently bought the smaller six slice version that has the same control panel. Some people have accidentally changed the temperature to read in celsius instead of Fahrenheit in order to change it back simply press and hold the keep warm button until number changes. I've made quite a few different things with it.

Please explain the preheat. Does :25 means 25 mins preheat?

@jenicemckenzie7164 the 25 minutes is how long the air Fryer oven will cook for after its finish preheating. So it'll preheat for about 5-15 minutes. Sometimes it depends on how recently you've used it. Preheating takes longer if the gourmia appliance has had time to cool down but if you've just finished heating up frozen chicken Nuggets or pizza in it and it's still hot it doesn't take as long to preheat to your desired temperature then the number of minutes will immediately start the countdown from there after preheating has completed. I just bought one of these and according to the instructions you are not supposed to put foil on the crumb tray or any part of the oven. It says it can cause overheating of the oven.

@beaglemom06 unfortunately it's not my call since it's not my house nor my airfryer 😭😭 I appreciate the feedback tho but I know my parents will just shrug and keep the air Fryer in their house that they bought with their money how it is. do you know what size bake pan it can fit?

I just measured the pan that I'm assuming came with it and it was 15.5 length wise across. And 13' 3/4 width wise. This is in inches. I hope that helps. I will also be posting a video where I show you my length measurements and comparing a pan that doesn't fit inside the air Fryer with the one that comes with it. @cookiescream548 dude it's so hard to narrow down the timing and temperature of everything. Ahaha I've burnt left over Krab Rangoons and other foods that I wasn't sure of with how to reheat lol. My dad told me to watch the food I have in there and I was too confident with my timing and they burnt on the tips. But oh well. At least we can start a community here in this comment thread with our experiences of what we've tried and what works and what doesn't. It's nice.

@jenicemckenzie7164 depends on what meat you're cooking and how thick the cut of meat is. I suggest with that you let the air Fryer or oven fully pre-heat. Then put the food in on whatever time that google or a cooking article says is good for the specific temperature needed to fully cook the meat. Also if there's a broil option that might help with the speed.

@jenicemckenzie7164 honestly preheating with this appliance unfortunately is just like using the oven but smaller. My apologies for not being able to assist in finding a solution. Not sure if any newer models may or may not be faster in the preheating option but I'm sure they are since technology only has slight upgrades with the newer models that are released of each appliance. I'm not sure what your situation may be whether that be work or home life or just life in general with needing a more speedy cook time but honestly I find if you have your food in the air Fryer while it's preheating that you can cut off the cook time to where you see fit for how cooked your meal is. My family does that all the time and we either let it run the time or cut it off when it seems to be done or if it's raw meat just using the meat thermometer to double check and taking it out early as well once it's at the desired internal cook temperature. Also utilizing aluminum foil around the meat also helps concentrate the heat better it seems silly for me to say but sometimes I never know how some people use their personal cooking appliances so I put that out there as well. I hope these slight changes help enough or work out.
