I strongly agree about the idea of having a mechanism in place to accommodate for accountability with large government funds spent in a particular province. Reports need to show what exactly that money does and how is it benefiting the nation as a whole. MPs must not fund projects for the sake of funding, we must carry out projects that serve a purpose that will benefit the people and as the people grow, that nation grows with it in wealth and knowledge.

Yes, an accountable development mechanism. National Government needs to develop a well defined and clear mechanism to correctly account for the millions being borrowed and spent especially in Project Funding. This tool must be developed as a National Funds Tracking Tool that must be rolled out and implemented in each province. This is needed for all capital or infrastructural projects in the country. In addition to this tracking tool, an investigation process need to be documented and implemented when required to identify the abusers of the funds and penalize them for non compliance or non performance. Or do we have this already and aren't using it?
