The fact our governor has “great confidence” in the water board increases my lack of confidence in the water board.

By recharge does he mean cobalt mining?
@phylxguy55474 ай бұрын
Nothing to do with recharge it's to increase flows for hydro power for stocks they're invested into for big profits

Prayers resolve the water issues. Also, prayers for the kids and staff this year. Prayers for rain

As of 2022, the population of Idaho is 1.94 million. So you're saying over 25% of the state is growing potatoes there losing water which will make spuds costs $10/lb. They should have held you back in math class.

The largest crop grown in this country is grass (lawns). Can we encourage a gradual switch to hybrid Bermuda grass. This can be especially beneficial for with places with huge lawns like parks and churches and golf courses, businesses and shopping centers etc. Its a type of grass that is really drought tolerant and doesn't spread, because it is non-invasive. It only needs to be watered like once every few weeks instead of every few days. Encourage individual homeowners and new housing developments to use hybrid Bermuda grass too.

Turf Type Tall Fescue is the preferred grass type in the Treasure Valley. It's deep roots & preference to be cut long allow it to handle hot, dry summers. It's also quite cold hardy unlike Bermuda which is why nobody grows that here.
