Yes, he drank, but Suga is used to drink. If he had been 'drunk', he could not have driven his scooter so slowly and safely down the sidewalk. It was the sharp turn that caused the fall.

Honestly as a GROWN ADULT Suga shouldn’t even need to defend his actions at all…a scooter is hardly a motorcycle or car and clearly cant do much harm ,even in an accident,and at 30 he’s legal to drink, and a scooter a few blocks is waay safer than driving a car or motorcycle.so as an adult i see no wrong doing at all…he chose to take the safest option and hurt no one but himself.that should be punishment enough.a warning at most as its a minor violation with no real harm done. Like I have seen people saying Taehyung and label is not getting along so he might not renew his contract and leave the label or maybe the label will not take him, jungkook wants to go solo and not come in the group again, BTS is disbanded already but they are not announcing it now bcz they need the fans support all this while they are in the military, they are not coming together again as all of them are going for their solo career and BTS is over. I came to know BTS when I was suffering from a hard time, when my mom was suffering from cancer. Got introduced to BTS bcz of V as I used to listen to V's songs for hours before I could fall asleep while taking care of my mother. Even today I can't sleep without listening to V's songs. And after that, watching BTS together, their clips and compilations has become an escape for me from all my stress and overthinking and grief. But the thought of BTS getting disbanded and not coming together ever again makes me uneasy. Somehow it confirms my overthinking that something bad happens with the people whom I start loving or stanning or I get close to.... It feels like I'm the bad luck for them.

Honestly I would have written against what you said here. Bcz drinking and driving is a serious issue. No one should be irresponsible like this to drink and drive. What if he would have run into some other vehicle or hit people? What if he would have been driving at a high speed? What if he would have done some property damage? -When the news first broke I had these thoughts..... Then I say the cctv footage. And my younger sister sitting beside me couldn't stop laughing (sorry about that as she is still young and it's a serious matter)..... Bcz the vehicle he was driving. The e scooter 🛴 with a seat, isn't even considered as a ride in my country. Here people will laugh at you if you drive that bcz something like that is what teens or kids use as a ride at the parks or less busy roads. We were amazed that Suga was caught for driving THAT? With that e scooter if he would have hit someone or some vehicle then he would have hurt himself more than anyone else. Also he was driving so slow that too on the pathway not even on the busy roads. And he wasn't caught for hitting anything or running into something. He just fell down himself while taking a turn. Not saying he didn't make any mistakes.... He did. But it was a mistake not a crime or maybe it is as per their country law but not so much that people are wishing a de@th sentence for him or life imprisonment. He should get fined for it or license revoking as the designated punishment if it is required as per their law but not the cancellation from tv or leaving BTS or ending the career taking retirement and all sort of demands that people are asking for. There is a double standard in Korea apparently for “crimes” or breaking the law. We must remember that Suga did drink and was driving a slow scooter not a car. A short distance and he fell when he was trying to park the scooter. He got up quickly. If he was very drunk probably he would have stayed on the floor or hit something. He didn’t hit anything or anyone. I can name a lot of artist that crashed hitting structures while driving cars after drinking a lot!!He went for 3 long hours at the police stations to be questioned and apologized about 4 times. This station posted the wrong video of another person going very fast. This shows that this is personal and they hate him and want to affect his career. This is crazy and unacceptable!!! Haters have tried to get rid of or at least discredit BTS since the day they debuted. Why??? Probably because they could see that BTS would make a huge impact on the music scene. If the rear wheel of the scooter hadn't slipped out from under the scooter when Suga turned in to the apartment entryway, then this wouldn't be happening. Also if there just didn't happen to be a couple of police officers nearby and they decided to see what happened, then none of this would be happening. The haters have gotten even worse since the final five members enlisted in the military and they've taken every chance they can to bring down BTS. This won't happen because Army loves BTS for who they are and not who the haters try to portray them as. Also, it will be very interesting to see what happens if and when the television outlets refuse to have Suga on their channels. What the TV's are doing now is terrible because if they didn't want Suga to appear in the photos, they simply didn't show any. Somebody explain this to me please. If the police has declared that the scooter is a mobility device that does not need a license plate, then is a license needed to drive it? For what reason was his license suspended? Genuinely confused here. And yes, the Korean culture seems extremely harsh in the treatment of the people THEY CHOOSE to judge guilty.

. This infuriates me! There is another k-pop idol who is being accused of SA, with some convincing evidence, and nothing punitive has been done to him! Suga, on the other hand, made a serious but non-violent mistake, apologized three times for it, and was inaccurately portrayed. The news people had to apologize to him, yet he is being treated like a hard core criminal. What’s going on? Something seems corrupt as far as I’m concerned. This just doesn’t make sense.

He travelled what 500m along a wide pavement devoid of people late at night .. when I look at the video it appears he wasn’t wavering about but heading in a controlled way and slowly along that pavement .. it’s clear he turned too quickly and lost his balance .. but he stood up quickly and then the police pounced .. in the video it looked like there were several police men .. that in itself seems a bit suspicious.. what they just happened to be in the area at the right time of night .. personally I think they were tipped off.. he wasn’t driving a scooter - when I think of scooter I think of Vespa type thing - or a motorcycle, or a car, or truck .. why is it such a big deal .. okay the laws the law but you’d think he committed murder or sexual assault or some other heinous crime crime by the way folk are persecuting him .. the hypocrisy of it all .. do you really think all those folk who are baying for his blood and all those police officers, lawyers, government officials and CEOs running entertainment companies etc live blemish free lives !!!!! They sure don’t .. leave him alone for fck sake .. I despair ! He has acknowledged his mistake and sincerely apologised .. so let’s forget the PC driven demands for rehabilitation etc etc and accept his apology and move on..

It's just strange that there happened to be 3 uniformed officers close by just as he stumbled of, as if someone had tipped them of or they'd been following him. Seems like the only reason he came of was because he tried to turn & was at the edge of the pavement/kerb so stumbled no big deal. Anyone else there would've been no fuss but because it's him ..... 😡
