You have NO clue how the US government is set up, per the US Consitution. There are 3 co-equal branches of government and it is CONGRESS that makes laws and budgets. Trump is not a king and presidents have no right to unilaterally decide how to distribute federal funds-Congress has already decided that, and any bills and budgets that pass are bipartisan. There are plenty of ways to audit spending.

When the Constitution was signed, the only kind of rifles available were muzzleloading rifles, so you can have all the muzzleloading rifles you want. Assault weapons were designed for soldiers to use on the battlefield, not for civilians to keep in their closet. If you want to play with assault weapons, join the military. There is absolutely nothing illegal about banning assault weapons. If you're a civilian, you have no business owning an assault rifle.
