He knows and can identify America's enemies both internally and externally and has the backbone to fix it. He is articulate and knows how to communicate. These are qualities that Trump lacks. Governor DeSantis does not recognize Florida Correctional Officers and Detention Deputies as Emergency First Responders and or Law Enforcement Officers despite several legal precedents that state that they in fact are. This is a major problem especially considering that Florida's prisons and jails are in a state of crisis. Many of the legal precedents that define FL COs as emergency first responders and law enforcement officers were signed into law by Governor DeSantis but when FL COs needed their Governor to come through for them he was nowhere to be found and did not even stand up for the very laws he signed into law. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Owes County Correctional Officers Their Second Recognition Payment and the country most certainly deserves better.

Good speech, good Q&A responses, bad body language seated in the chair. Forward lean, rump not all the way into the seat, and back not straight conveys perceived submissiveness. In fairness, Trump tends to do the same thing during interviews.
