Got into this band just a while back (saw them in London last year, what a show!!!!!). I rate this guy as one of my favourite players along with Keith Richard’s Martin Barre, Mick Jones (The Clash) and Richard Thompson, stunning stuff.

Yes 👍 and no 👎 for me. I also think Haynes is a very talented 🎸 (+ 🎤) ist, and only ‘discovered’ him/Gov’t Mule about a year or two ago. It was the 👏 performance Haynes did together with Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi of ‘I’d Rather go Blind’ (@ the White House under Obama’s administration IIRC) - which I thought was terrific (not including Obama though). The covers Haynes did with Dave Matthews + Band on Young’s ‘Cortez the Killer’ at 3 different concert venues were some of the best of the many I’ve heard so far. As for your list, I’m not as thrilled about the rest as you are. I can think of others who I would have added. But music, like everything else, is really a matter of personal preference and taste - to each his/her own!

Saw them in Seattle at the Paramount 5-6 years ago and the Drums & Bass were WAY too loud.... Trouble hearing Haynes' guitar and vocals.... Hard to believe it went on for most of the show.....

My neighborhood with great history . An old steel mill my friends Dad worked at , as did most of my friends Dads. Haynes commented a bit during the show about the back drop.

Thats a great venue there aside the steel stacks of Bethlehem Steel in Pennsylvania. I was at the show and the whole area there is a great place to visit. Lots of other activities there. Festivals, car shows etc.
