Gov. Walz on rebate checks for Minnesota families

A prominent promise made by Gov. Tim Walz last legislative session will begin to come to fruition for Minnesotans this week. On Wednesday, Walz will hold an event to announce that as families gear up for the back-to-school season, the one-time tax rebate payments of up to $1,300 per family will start being sent to tax filers.

so are you saying that because people who are on disability that didnt pay taxes shouldnt get one....because im pretty sure they arent. Says right on the video that its for people who filed in 2021. My mother is dying and on disability and poor as fuck. Cant afford food and bills and doesnt make even 900 a month. And she is hurting. Alot of people in her shoes are hurting just as much as you. Were all in this sinking ship. Lets not cast stones on people you have no clue about.

It’s called the Governor reallocating the wealth. He raised taxes and now he is taking those funds and giving them to those he thinks need the money. I didn’t vote for him. I think what he is doing should be illegal.
