Its main attraction is that a replica of Shri Madan Mohan Temple, the main temple of Vrindavan has been made here. Govardhan Eco Village is open to everyone. You can reside here and at the same time erase spiritual hunger. It is a kind of ashram where the unique hue of nature can be seen. The charming Yamuna ghat along the river captivates you. Govardhan Eco Village underlines the need to live with nature and the divine.
Govardhan Eco Village is the result of an ardent desire of Radhanatha Swami to fulfill the dream of his beloved guru, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada - "To erect for the members and society at large, a holy place of transcendental pastimes, dedicated to the personality of Krishna."
Govardhan Eco Village is not an overnight establishment, but a shape formed over a century of toil, hardship, and the constant passion of many. Govardhan Ecovillage is a place that houses several eco-friendly initiatives. Govardhan Ecovillage is implementing several rural development initiatives in many villages nearby with the help of the Sri Chaitanya Seva Trust.
Govardhan Eco Village is open for all tourists from Morning 8:00 am to 7:30 pm.
