Check the lumens. That’s the indicator for how bright something is. Govee is an awesome brand, you just got a cheap version. Great video btw.

We use the Govee tv kit, but like you said it’s mainly used as an accent light. I hope you post a video of what project you use it in. If you find another use for it!
