Thank you so much for this video! 🙏🏻 Here I am in 2024, trying to figure out the differences between the Govee H6051/H6052 and couldn't find a definitive answer for nearly 30 minutes! Took me that long just to find out the 6051 was the Lite and the 6052 was the Aura. I read through both manuals, but they didn't really specify any true differences between the two models. I'm grateful I caught your video in my search feed because I'd most likely have never figured out what different features each had 😅 I've been looking into getting a little RGBW lamp for the table near the couch where my older cat sleeps...unfortunately standard bulbs seem to keep him up but night lights have him meowing scared at night, poor guy 🐱 Thanks again, the little goldfish swimming around the Aura sold it for me. I appreciate it!

I bought a couple of the Govee Lyra Floor lamps for the lounge based on your review 👍 They are stunning. Thinking about getting one of these table lamps too. You really need to see them in the flesh to appreciate how good they are.

Is it me? Or is the lite version colours more relaxing and suble, wereas the orginal has more saturated colours. I like the colours on the lite. Getting both. Ordered the lite by mistake, so also ordered the original also. Could not cancel the lite I ordered, so keeping both

I chose the Aura over the Lite because of its ability to display more than one color simultaneously. But the Lite actually have the better design as its top is able to project light upwards as the outer circumference is exposed unlike the Aura. I was also disappointed that the Goldfish mode has "fishes" moving in a stuttering motion (inexcusable since the other animated modes had smooth motion). Nevertheless I have 2 Auras on order as I will be using them more for ambience and audio-sync to complement my Philips Hue ecosystem.

I agree. Weird how they gave the better design to the lite. I wish the aura was in the shell of the lite (clear top, backlit buttons).

Do you notice that the Lite projects more upward light than the Aura? I want to put it in my bathroom when I take a shower with the lights off after a night shift, so needing upward/ceiling-bound light is important here.
