You are the best demoer. 3:13 is exactly what i came for, it's a room filler. Remember the old school floor lamps with the dimmer? I'm looking for the same style ahd i think this one will meet my needs. My room is 5x5M so i hope that the 1500 lumens will do the job.

Is it a specific version of the Lyra Floor Lamp that works with video mode on the immersion kit? I recently purchased the Govee Immersion RGBIC LEF TV Backlight (H6199), and was looking at the Lyra. But from what I read on amazon, the Lyra does not sync with Video mode on the immersion kit. Did the most recent firmware change this?

My govee immersion kit works perfectly, I don't know why others are getting bad colour representation, it's really as perfect as it gets

For a lamp that's supposed to be turned towards the wall, it's a weird spot for the power cable to stick out of the foot. Is there any way to sway this to the back?

Depends on preference personally i think its best to have the light bouncing off the wall and unfortunately the base can't can't be adjusted.

That part about the Studio Sync is huge. Had no idea I could Sync the Lyra with the Immersion Kit. Now I need to see what other Govee lights can Sync with the Immersion Kit

It’ll work as long as they’re on the same wifi connection. Works with the light bulbs too!

@@dynamikr Nope, hue uses uses zigbee and the bridge, govee is controlled by WiFi or Bluetooth and there isn't an app that can control both hue and govee at the moment

Yes I use those. Any govee device that has Bluetooth control is compatible with the sync center

@@CFLDumpsters both items need to be added in the app as normal. Leave bluetooth on then go to DreamView option from the immersion kit and add the lamp

The floor lamp looks interesting but the colour syncing is way off as before, even with the black mat on the cabinet top. Although I’ve got the immersion strip myself the camera does pick up light from other sources if they are too bright. Can’t help feeling you’re going to get some ‘flashback’ from the floor lamp itself picked up by the camera to distort the immersion effect. To their credit I’m waiting for Govee’s kind offer of a free replacement control box for my immersion kit as mine currently can’t update to offer the sync base option even though I only bought it in the summer.

I was curious to see how well it performed with the lamp and it was pretty good not sure the camera gave it the full justice. There could be some flash back but in general it did well.

What is the colour accuracy compared to a raspberry pi running Hyperion? I see a lot of inaccuracies on your clips of live use rather than display testing colours etc.

Lower saturation 15-20% and white balance lower to blue side 12-18% and it’s much much better

The lamp itself is fine but this is a perfect example of why I wouldn't go with govee. The colour reproduction on this is all over the place

You haven't calibrated it right then. Phillips is heavily overpriced for the same result.
