Government living high on the hog: TAXPAYER PODCAST

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his entourage billed taxpayers more than $220,000 for airplane food during their week-long tour of the Indo-Pacific last September.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation dug up all the meal receipts through an access to information request.
Here are some of the airplane meals they enjoyed:
Braised lamb shanks with steamed broccoli and boiled baby potatoes.
Beef brisket and parsley mashed potatoes with truffle oil.
Pan fried beef tenderloin with port wine reduction sauce.
Strawberry shortcake and baked cheesecake with pistachio brittle.

I will always remember when my brother in law owned a company and went through hard times. He downgraded his big car, sold his cottage, and cut back his spending and did not lay anyone off. He led by example. He told the employees that there would be no raises for a while, but that they'd all have their jobs. He did pull them them out, got through the tough times together and things got better. He never lost an employee. He had their backs, and their loyalty. He started a profit sharing plan. A few years later he sold the company, everyone made money and had their jobs contractually locked in. If the prime mistake of canada reads this, he'll have no idea what I'm talking about, or understand the point, I am sure.

I worked in the Windsor Airport , 1966 as a food worker with Macy’s Big Boy the contractor. Air Canada flew in and out and we made the food for them. We made the meals as to the contract and it would be equivalent to a restaurant food premade in a hot box. Paul Martin Sr. flew in 3 times a week on a Viscount, or Vanguard with a secretary and crew. These Liberal meals are catered in by a gourmet supplier, probably a Liberal supporter. I bet the wine isn’t Pelee Island! The food these royal lookalikes eat is gross corruption and a remake of the menu. What do flying military eat going to fight in Europe etc. This is a bad joke on my taxes.

Plus Trudeau gave Sophie $25 million to start up her Toronto communications company. It was about to come out so they separated and have an agreement that she is now a private citizen and nobody can go after her got any money she may have received from Justin’s government. And what ex wife goes on vacay with their ex. She is still billing the tax payers and went to Jamaica for her $9,000 dollar a night swanky digs. She went to Montana after they separated and she went to Tofino too. Justin claims she pays her own way. I call bs on that. She just hops in his jet to get a free trip. I vote to have the Canadian Taxpayers federation be the gatekeeper of the public purstrings. whereas the government can table a budget - subject to vote in the house but the Canadian Taxpayers federation has the final say as to whether or not the spending is approved or not - and this would also include all government personnel's expenses - which first they will pay out of their own pocket - submit the receipt to the Canadian Taxpayer federations scrutiny whereby they can approve or deny. This would drastically reduce the outflow of money to a realistic level that will help the taxpayer!

The course of food on that trip sounds horrendous. How can someone be expected to eat this way. They should at least have access to no name Hot dogs and poop-on mustard. Our leaders deserve at least that. It's shameful that they have to eat like that.
