Government threw out ‘perfectly prepared’ pandemic plans in panic: Tony Abbott

Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott says the government threw out “perfectly prepared” pandemic plans and panicked in response to COVID-19.
It comes as former health minister Greg Hunt has hit out states and territories for their 'unilateral' health decisions which were not based off medial evidence.
“When you go back and look at this honestly, and dispassionately you would have to say that the first mistake that governments made was throwing out the perfectly prepared pandemic plans that we all had in panic," Mr Abbott told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Because of the dire photographs coming out of overwhelmed Italian hospitals.
“I think that had lot more to do with the Italian hospital system than it had to do with the severity of the disease itself."

Look up charts showing the MASSIVE increase in benzo and opiate prescribing in hospitals and nursing homes. The UK for example: March 2020 Midazolam doses increased from 22 million monthly injections (in Feb) to 36 million injections. Then back down to normal. But in the fall, the prescriptions went way back up again to simulate the fall flu season.

The three most important principals of effective quarentine are: 1.) An isolated facility that is in a low density populated area. 2.) The facilty is hard to access (one way in and out) like the quarentine facility in point nepean Victoria established in the 1800's. 3.) begs the question....how/why was Abbott so sure that there will be another pandemic i wonder.......wikipedia has a recent outbreak of measles in the philipines down as a pandemic...with just 14 people affected......God help us....when the language is changed to suit the narrative, we know we have a fight on our hands..... too many of those iinvolved in power enjoyed thier moment in the sun obscenely too much.

haha i did quite a bit of cycling in lock down. I rode and saw Tony Abbott riding(berowra waters) in My LGA . Tony is a northern beaches bloke. Tony your a a bad man, out of LGA haha Even then he knew it was all bull dust
