I have said very many times Abure looks and acts like criminal, looking at him and confirmations to it is the primary election in imo state where one one of aspirant died and authority decided that the registration money be refunded, the body language of this criminal called chairman Abure was kind of looking at the money as winner winner thing ,Anumudu family is far bigger than that kind of money but little criminal like Abure being chairman in party decent people are assembled is dangerous every day there's one criminal involvement to another even when his time elapsed as the chairman he still wants parades himself as the chairman, this should not be swept under the carpet the moment he starts with court they should take it to the end with him by that l mean investigating all his activities as the chairman of labour party and make sure he pays for it.

This headline is not correct. Abure's tenure expired in June of 2024. When Abure attends INEC meetings as the LP chairman, INEC is said to have excused him from the meeting (asking him to leave), noting that LP has no recognised leader at the momen. So Dr Alex Oti, Peter Obi, Datti, LP elected senators & House of reps members have nominated a care taker committee to organise congresses from the wards to LGAs, to states and a national congress to elect the party's new leaders. If they fail to do this, then any names submitted by Abure's 'leadership' will be a nullity.
