My reply to Kolapo animashaun, is that EVERY ONE WANTS TO GO TO HEAVEN BUT NO ONE WANTS TO DIE.meaning that every body wants development but nobody wants to sacrifice. life is about sacrifice.The only thing i expect you to say is that, the people asking these ppl to sacrifise, should meet these ppls condition and terms. so that , they will be happy 4 the sacrifies they have made so far.

goldy star, with ur name,i can not place you to know what part of the Nigeria Federation you hails from, but for those of us who hails from the Lagos State, we have seen the landscapes of our homeland changed beyond recogniton, and i really dont really fancy ur hiding behind a pseudonym here, my worry is the unprecencedent population expansion of Lagos State ,approaching the population of Ghana in a period of a couple of decades unstoppingly encroaching on our lands and disenfranchinsing our ppl in their own homedstead ,and make them foreigners in thier own yard, its too fast, bewildering and not culturally welcoming, and should not be imposed on these people.

kolapo animashaun Yes am a Nigerian ,from Delta state, but base abroad. well i will make one thing clear to you ,once a capital of a country is being located in your town or your area as per say.Just know, from that very moment that you have lose at least 50% of your rightful ownership to others. Why because , the average Nigerian citizen sees their capital as ours not totally yours any more..And why is it so ?it is so because of the mentality of our ppl and the system of our gov..and what is the system of the gov. all about? is where a greater prefrencial treatment is given to our capital there by maginalizing other parts of the country, to certain extent, .all in the name of projecting our capital to be the best to international level . And to me that is welcome.And ppl will fload there . with the aim of going for their national cake, cos they feel that a greater part of their countrys wealth is being use to build their capital ..So that is one of the disadvantages that follows any place that a capital of a country is located at .Fashola is even kind to the ppl .cos they are certain countries that compensations . are not paid to the land owners and their opinion are not respected. all the gov does is vacate them with force.So i know how you feel. but is development for you..

really ? you do not know how I feel, pls, no pretence here. and Lagos WAS the capital, not Lagos State, as Washington Discrit of Columbia, is the U.S. capital, not Washington State, furthermore YOUR capital has been moved to Abuja Federal Territory now, and you and you talked of your "national cake" share in Lagos ? definately, a little bit of enlightnment is needed here, it is a fallacy, and I think you have no empathy, even though you prentends to one. and pls, Sir/Madam proudly use name wherever you may be or go. thanks. And moreover, the reasons the state were created from 12 to 30 something it is now, is for every area of the federation to develop itself at pace, and avoids the kind of crazy lopsided pouplation drift we have here, and avoid animousities and resentments it will eventually breeds in the long run .

kolapo animashaun Yes i agreed that Lagos was once the capital. but dont forget that its still the commercial capital of the whole Nigeria. not just on a local level.And additional money is being budget, for its extra developmen,t there by making it a federal issue..so you CANT EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT BACK.meaning that you dont expect Lagos to be the commercial capital of Nigeria, and our additional money is being budget to take extra care of our commercial city every year, .and you still expect to own it all to your self .No things dont work that way.
