I have personally own Govo GoSurround 950, JBL Bar DeepBass Mk2, and Samsung B550 soundbars. The samsung and JBL soundbars are a different price segment and both consume well over 300w BUT...they are 2.1 soundbars and the Govo is 5.1 I was STUNNED when I heard the sound from Govo when it is in 5.1 mode. The sound quality from Govo is beautiful to listen to, but there is a sort of artificial enhancement to the sound compared to the sound from JBL and Samsung. The expensive bars sound more natural. But that is only when you listen side by side. Listening to Govo alone is a blissful experience, you will love it. Now comming to the subwoofer, All of them sound similar at max volume of Govo. No distortion. But the Govo dosent even come close when you increase the volume of both Samsung and JBL. Mind you, both the other speakers cost nearly twice as much. The Bass from JBL hits different, trust me it is the Best bass you will ever hear in a speaker system under 30k. But then again it is expensive. I am surprised the Govo comes close to the other two at such a low price point. Awsome set of speakers for a small room.

Personally i don't like deep bass. I like balance sound with clear vocal and instruments. I like to listen songs in speakers rather than watching movies. And i have no experiences on sound bar neither i have experienced dolby or anything. I just use normal 2.1 stereo speakers. Can you tell is this soundbar is good enough for me? i just want to enjoy songs. And this will be my 1st buy of big sound system so I'm little confused.

Yes bro surround speakers in govo will also play main voice, but when the actual surround sounds also will perform good in govo.

Believe i can't believe people because Govo 970 is not all sounds like what this people say The fact is that within 6 months the soundbar failed and now not starting and to the surprise there is no service centre of their own, they will appoint some local guy in your area which may not necessarily be trained at Govo Factory to repair, so no guarantee of getting the quality service as normal anyone can expect from any branded company i am sure its same with all these cheap Home Theatre companies so be careful before buying I would suggest pay little extra and choose to buy any branded on line or offline than rest be assured that they can serviced in their own service centre with original parts #Govo #GovoLife #GovoRepair I can't believe these kind of Promoters who for their personal gain they do not tell the truth or may be they do not know anything about Home Theater systems at all so beware do not fall Prey for such reviews

Hello Sir, kya aapke pass NVIDIA GRAPHICS CARD wala PC hai? Agar haa Then I want to ask for a surround sound configuration with Sound bars with HDMI ARC I already have a old analogue 5.1 system (Intex) working in 5.1 surround configuration with the PC, but I want to upgrade to a newer cleaner system.. "Soundbar HDMI ARC connected to HDMI Port of Nividia GRAPHICS card, pc main configure to use Nividia Audio, setting to use in 5.1 surround configuration" So if you can try the above configuration with the 5.1sound bars you have reviewed it will help me in deciding, if I can really go and buy the 5.1 soundbar system to replace the old analogue system Should This configuration give a 5.1 output in Games or Movies then it works for my case.. thanks for helping..
