when you leave office, it should be it, it is called retirement. The country has no money for those out of office as the country is struggling. My mom was a teacher and when she retired she got her lump sum amount of money and that is all, no one pays for her electricity and water bill. The law must change for those in parliament too. Mahama said he is retired and so he should leave politics and rest and enjoy himself.

Why won’t ex-president Mahama take a seat and leave the presidency alone? He had his chance, whether good or bad, there’s nothing more he can add to Ghana. Is he saying he has learned anything new to prove to Ghanaians? What are the new ideas? The NDC should look for new ideas likely from the younger members. It will be a shame and disservice to Ghana if NDC allows Mahama to represent them again.

Law of karma, your government with you as Vice President in 2018 refused to implement the president Kuffour’s recommendations & therefore refused to pay ex president Kuffour’s ex-gratia & even refused to give him an office & pay his bills. Then when you JM was leaving power in 2016 ( I guess he didn’t know he’ll lose the elections), your own report did not state that they should pay utilities & provide a house for ex-presidents, only to plead with president elect Nana Addo to give you a house, & he refused. Tomorrow, we shld not expect Nana Addo who would’ve left office to also come & complain like a baby, because he’s doing it now to all the ex-president, or JM thinks President Kuffour’s case is different? 🤔

230,000 Ghc salary arrears has been paid, This means that Ghanaians have paid for the services you rendered during your time of governance, so it's done between you and the public purse.
