Great video! I own three Goyard totes … two GM and one PM. The GM strap drops are longer and easier to maneuver when holding things in both hands.

@@kendrastacy1476 so funny that you’re asking this because I’ve been using the bag a lot recently and I have to say, I really like the PM size. When I can, I’ll wear the bag on my shoulder, otherwise I’ve resigned myself to using this bag as a top handle bag. It’s not ideal but if you can make it work (ie not overstuff the bag and make it too heavy) then I think you’ll really enjoy it. Thank you for watching btw! ❤️

@@kendrastacy1476 I prefer the PM for everyday. I don’t have any issues with the straps. It fits my frame the best. But, I have it in black on black so that may be why I gravitate towards it.

The strap drop and zipper option is the reason why I purchased the Artois versus the St. Louis. No regrets and super comfortable carrying around. Thinking about getting the Artois in white for spring + summer.

We can return the bag if we don't like it. As long as the plastic wrap on the handles are still on and it's returned within the return period(depending on where we buy it).

i’m wondering if you know where to find the date code? i owned a black one and someone asked me for the date code but i don’t know where to find it. I’m under the impression that newer Louis doesn’t have a date code anymore.

Hi, I have this Goyard bag in 3 different colors (black, green & light blue) and been using the 2 colors for more than 10 years and very happy with them. I just purchased the light blue recently. Yes, the end part or bottom sides did worn out after maybe more than 5 years of using it but I was using the black color as an office bag everyday since its so light. You can always go back to the store and have them fix that issue for $250.00. Anyways, overall I love this brand and since I petite (4'11" & asian), I have no issues with the handle at all.

The bag has a lovely colour! Too bad about the straps, but you should be happy with your purchase! The feeling of wanting something and constantly thinking about it is really annoying, worse so than short straps!

Sell it and buy the gm size preferably in Europe. The gm size looks fine with the sides folded in. I’ve gone back and forth with both and hands down, I prefer the gm size. I still own both but if I could only own one, it would be the gm size. The boheme is also a great bag which has a longer strap drop.

I purchased the Black and Tan in the pm size last March. I used it all spring and summer. I live in the suburbs of Chicago so as soon as it was coat weather wearing this bag was a no no lol. It's been sitting on my shelf and I told myself I would only use in the spring or summer which sucks because of the price lol but I hate carrying it in the crook of my arm or top handle. I am eyeing the Godyard Anjou mini because I love the print. This is defiantly a love/hate bag!!! I bought my bag at the Godyard Boutique in Chicago. I was told there was a 30 day return but the plastic that was wrapped around handles had to be intact.

It’s truly a love/hate relationship for sure 🙈 it’s interesting that your boutique had a return policy bc I was told indefinitely there was no way to return, and I know people who’ve had the same experience. The strap drop was a deal breaker for me. I had to sell my black on black PM and now waiting for a sales associate to get back to me thru distant sales so I can get a GM. I wish I saw this video before buying!

A good tote needs a generous strap drop so it can be worn over coats and bulkier clothing. I struggle with the PM but interested in the GM for the longer drop.

I want soo much to love this bag and get one because it is low key…however, I keep hearing about all these issues so can’t bring myself to pull the trigger not to mention there are TONS of fakes on eBay and they’re not taking down these fake listings!! The fakes are pretty darn close.
