Goyard St. Louis Tote Review | Is it Worth it?

I have always been a fan of Goyard bags, simply for the classic designs and simplicity of all their bags. I thought it would be helpful to do a quick overview of this bag, how I store things inside of it, and if I think this bag is worth it. Are there better options? Is this bag worth the current price?

If you’d like a more substantial tote, you should go for the Anjou pm. It’s very luxe feeling but still has a lot of slouchiness to it. I had the mini anjou but sold it and bought the anjou pm instead. Anjou mini is cute, but looks silly when worn on the shoulder. I’ve bought all of my goyards in Europe. The US prices are obscene. The Anjou pm was $2253 after vat back..not bad. The boheme is also a great and underrated bag.

Agree 💯 with you! In fact 2 if my friends were gifted non authentic Goyard St.Louis and they look-feel exactly like the authentic ones. 😢 Another friend had an authentic one and it tore badly ....LV neverfull monogram is much better quality.❤

This was so helpful - I am always interested on people’s thoughts on the St. Louis and am so on the fence about it! It looks so cute but there are so many people who think it’s not worth the money. I am torn between this one and the mini Anjou! I am also a mama so not sure if the mini Anjou would be a little harder to tote around with the littles!

It’s pronounced “Goy-ar” The “d” is silent. Sky blue and green are my favorite goyard colors. There are a lot of fakes, but after owning a few of their bags, it’s easy to tell the difference. I was standing in line behind someone the other day and we both had the sky blue gm St. Louis but her pattern was a bit more faded looking than mine and it lacked the texture of the leather trim that the authentic tote has. I’m sure she thought it was close enough. To each their own.
